This is a stupid brawl, almost might as well flip coins. My deck is full of cards not even playable in arena whereas before I had already reached 9 Mana my opponent had already played Fire Elemental and 2x Kallimos (this is not even talking about the random spells)
Funny Moment
Round 1
Opponent played Weasel Tunneler just for RNGesus to cast Earth Shock on it. =( Poor guy
Stay thirsty my friends
Is this only Standard cards?
Ideas on how to get more variety in the meta and card pool.
I champion brawls like this against the ladder babies, but I have to say, losing streaks in these kinds of brawls feel so f'ing bad. But the problem is not the brawl, it's that Blizzard has every sense of forward movement in the game built around WINNING.
My hopes and expectations are 1) to get a pack and 2) to progress on dailies. But both insist that I win (at least, I seem to always get the "win" dailies). So I play a 10 minute game, lose at the end, and then do that 3-5 times in a row, and I just want to light shit on fire. I turn the game off hating everything about it and having felt like I've wasted an hour of my life.
It doesn't have to be this way. It would be better to not offer a pack and not apply brawl to dailies, because then I would play without any mental tie to winning, and I would enjoy it so much more. You can call me an idiot and say "hey idiot, if you don't like it don't play -- this is a free pack you entitled jerk!" But our brains don't work that way. Most of us enter brawls prompted by the idea that it will move us forward in the game, not just purely entertain us. The other dailies like casting spells are perfect, but they're not all that common, and they could be so much more imaginative with those kind of quests.
worst brawl
How is this brawl any fun? My opponent got call of the wild on turn 4 and I got astral communion leaving me with an empty hand. In another game, I had no minion while the opponent had 4 minions and he played another minion that casted frost bolt to hit me in the face. Pure RNG brawl if you like that sort of thing.
i found something interesting with this brawl. I was playing a friend and played curious glimmerroot against him. It gave me the choice between doom, hellfire and mistress of pain. So as the decks have only minions i picked the mistress... Thats when it told me it was wrong and it was actually hellfire.
I casted a Krul that pulled my other Krul and both Mal'ganis I had in my hand.
Then it casted corrupting mist...
So if you are a new player, this is a great brawl. Yes, I get it, a lot of bitter, resentful ladder players are saying the opposite - it's just the salt talking. So good news is following:
So the bottom line is you can get a lot of gold, level your heroes, and learn a lot about the game. Don't let some ladder burnout's salt spoil it for you.
Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
Soo lame. When are we going to get the great summoners competition again. Hands down the best brawl ever.
Interesting bug: Played curious glimmeroot and choose a minion, while the other cards were spells and it failed.playedit later and got a hellfire out of it.
My guess is that somehow the decks use some sort of core to generate random decks for some reason and it's the base deck(begginers decks)? Weird
took me nine tries, but i finally got my first win. i hate this brawl.
i fucking hate this brawl
Every game I've lost so far was from a pure dice roll and what was in the other persons deck.
A really fun brawl, 5/7 would brawl again. Super RNG based brawl but still playable, i've managed to go 10 - 2. Completed all of my quests :D
Bitch i'm Willy Wonka!
