Last night I was reminded why there will never, ever be a control meta in Hearthstone. Blizzard printed a card in the original set that will prevent it from ever being feasible: Mind Control. I play a win condition: SW Death. I play another win condition: SW Death. I play a third win condition: Mind Control. Oh look, now you have MY win condition....that was "fun and interactive".
It's bad game design when a single card can kill an entire play style.
It's pretty rare for a person to blame a crappy meta game on mind control. I know I hate getting wrecked by Mind Control when I play jade decks and pirate decks..
Do I have to remind you that Mind Control is almost unplayable due to it's extraordinarily high mana cost? It's also a very slow card, and if your win condition is based off of a single minion and you don't win the turn you play it then you should really re-do your deck.
But let's be serious, during the years the meta as been literally filled with Control decks: Warriors, Reno-archetype, etc... So your argument is pretty pointless. Mind Control is just a 1 in a million cards that will see few plays because of its cost and how much situational it is.

For what profit is it to a man, if he gains the world and loses his own soul?
Yeap because control is just playing big sticks on board...Most control decks have a finisher and don't really care if your big guy gets stolen or killed. Those cards existed forvever and none cared.
Super effiecient aggro and midface are the bane of control decks and now the unendying jade trains
Not so sure, it's on track for 50 at this rate. The title is catchy, and better yet, it's true. There will never be a control meta, and it really doesn't matter what cards blizz prints - it's the players that don't want it, control camp is just stubborn about accepting that.

We'll never have a control meta because A) Aggro and midrange are inherently favoured for ladder due to the star system and the win per time spent ratio
B) Because Blizzard keeps printing broken aggro cards
4.) because no instant speed spells means you have to spend your whole turn reacting to your opponent instead of reacting to him during his turn proactively doing something during your turn.
5) the Hall of famed cards are mostly control and combo cards Sylvannas and Rag being two control cards rotating out weakening control as a whole
Fixed your point 3 with actual veritable reasons and conjugations and added point 4 and 5 , tbh Jade Idol wouldn't be that problematic if control actually got good cards but well Sylv and rags hall of famed and we're stuck with Avian Watcher.

Seems ok.

That's Incredible!
You forget also Entomb.

Lol you can't get salty for 1 in 8 priests who run MC. I had my deathwing Mind controlled and I took the loss like a man.
2 reason there will never be a control meta unless there's 3+ dominant control decks:
1. You climb slower with them
2. They're usually the most expensive decks out there
This is essentially the same complaint as this one:
