OMG I'm so frustrated on the grind way. Trying to hit legend for the first time with Renolock but always falling back from the middle of rank 1. Still need 4 stars but it is so hard to sail in the ocean of pirates with a ship called "bad luck". :D

Playing Hearthstone since Oct 2015. Favourite class: Warlock.
Aaaand I have 99 skills, but the english language ain't one. :D
yup! i had to play pirate warrior from ranked 10-5, left a dirty taste in my mouth. i didn't exclusively play aggro shaman thoiugh, switched between it, dragon warrior and renolock. it was the deck i spent the most time with though - i would say its the most consistent deck right now
The only change I made is Bloodlust instead of Lightning Storm. Bloodlust is incredible and won me like 20-30 games on its own, even when played with 1-2 minions on board.
GL to everyone. Except for those who play Pirate Warrior and Aggro Shaman. I hope you braindead bastards fail miserably.
Stats from rank 5 are attached. "Other rogues" in this context means Water Rogue, met all of them on ranks 3-2.
Achieved legend yesterday too with anti-aggro Renolock (without the combo). So now climbing with Medivh, the Guardian and the Cho'gall +Violet Illusionist supersonic combo. Already climbed about 3000 rank with it (from ~7900 to ~4600). :D
I'm with Lifecoach. the decks are too easy to pilot. If there's no skill decks in this next expansion, i'll stop after a month just like this expansion. Hitting legend is not satisfying when playing brainless decks.
Here is my extremely fun and strong deck with Cho'gall and Medivh. If you are bored in this meta and want to play with something fresh in the last days of the Year of the Kraken you should give it a try! I used it between Rank 1 and Rank 2 and on the legend ladder went from ~7900 to ~4000.
I going for Legend for the first time. I am using a self-made Y'Shaarj, Rage Unbound/Ancestor's Call deck (Wild). I have played this deck exclusively from Rank 20 to Rank 2 (current Rank). Most of my games has been on iOS, so I have not been able to track my wins/losses.
The deck is pretty fun, and has some ridiculous turn 6 plays if you get Barnes/Ancestral Spirit.
Almost there, double legends wild/standards, first month playing after 3 months break. Looking for competitive/active friends on NA :P ( most of my friend list quitted :( ) so feel free to add me.

Everything that isn't about elephants is irrelephant.
I've made it as far as Rank 3, 2 stars so far with my own deck, which is Dragon Warrior with the Finja package. Considering my best before this was 7 I'm really happy with that. I won't make it to legend I think but this has been a great run and I look forward to the new meta.

I'm hopeful for Un'Goro having more options for decks that have room for solid decisions. Miracle would probably fill that void but people are probably exhausted of that archetype, so maybe the new Quest for Rogue has some room to fill in that gap. I'm always pretty sure Priest is going to find a way to have some kind of semi-complex deck, and the new spell that discovers a copy of another spell has me intrigued in what kind of combos you could build. Control Warrior is my pick for underrated pick of the next meta. Elementals are hard to evaluate for skill-testing, but they seem to be designed with proper planning in mind and I like that; it's the best part about Dragons without necessarily promoting best on-curve plays.
Personally it's looking pretty good so far with what we're seeing from the next expansion. With a slower meta (and I actually think it will legitimately be a much slower meta, similar to Old Gods) I imagine there's a lot more room to breathe in regards to complex decks as well. Personally until then I think I'm going to just grind Dragon Warrior to up my win counter on Warrior and try to get a reasonable rank before the expansion launches next week. Not complex, but with most of the cards rotating that make that list good I wanted to get in the games while I had the chance. :)

Legend for the second time. I had no plans for legend climb this month and have been playing some jade Rogue and other fun stuff at rank 5-3. Yesterday I decided to try out aggro Shaman to punish all the Jade Druids I was facing and went on a really good streak. Played from rank 4 and got rank 1 with a score of 16-3. Continued this morning and finally got legend with 26-8 score overall from rank 4. FeeelsGoodMan :)
Congratz.
No offence, but you reached legend at 9266? Wow. There has to be a LOT of legend players this season.

Who's the Beatdown?
double legend this season, made it with renolock on wild, had good matchups on wild from R1 2 stars to legend, faced almost only control mages.

I just reached Legend for the first time! Played the Yshaarj Shaman in my signature exclusively this season. Feels great!
