I suppose this could have gone in Wild forum but it gets way more traction here and it applies to standard too!
I am playing a Wild Control Priest and doing pretty well at rank 8 (even vs Pirate Cancer noobs). My question is what do you guys think are the best cards to tec into my deck to counter Pirate Warrior. I have a 60-70% win rate vs them but I would prefer 90-100%. I dislike them (a lot).
So far these are the cards that I am countering them with and I find work quite well:
As a bonus I have Garrison Commander. If I manage to stay alive long enough this guy has really swung games too, especially after I have used Justicar Trueheart.
Cards that I think may improve win rate vs Pirate Warrior that I am not currently using (the problem here is that it will lower my win rate vs real decks):
Acidic Swamp Ooze (This is good in theory but it only removes 1 hit from a weapon because they always use 1 first)
Acidic Swamp Ooze is your first go-to. It's a vanilla-stat minion so you don't lose out on tempo vs. other decks, and deals with Upgrade's as well.
I am using Bog Creeper in control warrior to counter Pirates, but I think if you're using Sludge Belcher andDeathlord this one falls off the boat. I'm also using Cleave to counter their turn 1 Small-Time Buccaneer and Patches the Pirate, but since you're priest Doomsayer should substitute (they can kill doomsayer with a turn 2 Fiery War Axe, but in that case it still soaks 7 health)
Seeing you're playing a Reno deck, I suppose you also run Raza the Chained?
Also, I can imagine Pirate Warrior's faces after you play a Greater Healing Potion, but I don't know if this is a solid inclusion when playing against other decks.
I'd place Reno Jackson on 1st place there. Every single aggro deck concedes after you play it. EVERY.SINGLE.ONE.
I am using Reno m8 :) But not all concede after you use him and if they have 3 or more minions when you use him they still have a decent chance to win.

I am using Raza the Chained - but I have never used him in a match up vs Pirate Warrior - I have always needed a more impactful card. I think if I get to a point where I am no longer seeing any other decks I can tec in Greater Healing Potion and Darkshire Alchemist. Darkshire is not a complete waste of time vs other decks too.

Please let me know your thoughts and suggestions. Is there any card (especially in Wild) that I haven't thought of that could own?

Antique Healbot should not be your go-to in a priest deck. Darkshire Alchemist is considerable.

Don't forget about Druid of the claw!
Edited out.
Light of the Naaru is good, and Embrace/Auchenai/Circle without Reno.
