so if you are in a situation where you can't win the game, either your opponent has lethal on board and you can't clear it, or you know that in this position there is no card left in your deck, that can somehow win you the game, how do you end the game?
i know it depends on the game and on the opponent, sometimes if my opponent is a dick and BMs the whole game, i rope him to get a little revenge, but otherwise i try to kill myself, i think it's quite funny ... if the game was fair and entertaining, i emote "well played"
Seppuku if possible, I know when I'm outskilled ^^ Then again if they have a weird or unusual deck I just let them play out their cards as a sign of respect.
If by lost u mean 6HP empty board with enemy attacking you for 15HP next turn, i just concede and move on. If it was a well played match imo, i do emote a well played.
Now if by lost u mean "oh i think this game is lost already", i tryhard until the very last turn.
I always just hit well played and concede. I sometimes friend them after if it was a long game that was really well played from the both of us, my recent experience was playing control warrior against a home-brewed rouge. I don't ever let the rope burn because not only is it a waste of their time...it's a waste of mine lol
I feel that it's heavily mood-dependent for me. If I'm feeling particularly salty, I just wait until I see guaranteed lethal on board and concede. I try to emote "Well Played" if it's a game I don't feel strongly about.
It depends on the opponent and the match thus far.
If it's been a good match, or against a really fast deck, I'll let them finish it (or mess up, depending). If they're a particularly slow player or it's taken a long time, but they definitely have me the next round, I will sometimes suicide if I can. If I'm feeling impatient, or the other player has been annoying, and I know there's no comeback possible, I'll "well played" and concede.
I never rope out the opponent. That's just mean, and even if they're jerks, adding more jerkiness to the pool doesn't make anything better. Plus it's wasting my own time, which could be spent starting up another game as I have only a couple of hours a day I get to play at most.
Same, i do not concede nor do i BM, if my hero explodes into the dark abyss of lost games in my deck tracker i say well played and just queue into another game. No hard feelings.

well you can't win every game, can you?

I played a lot of games where my opponent missed lethal or BMed me (not quite sure) and then I managed to win!!
I say Never give up!

I always allow them to hit me for lethal. A mixture of respect, curiosity of what's in his hand, and of course, the occasional comeback from BM.
It depends on the opponent and the match thus far.

Trying Real Hard To Keep Hunter Relevant
It depends. Usually I just concede. Don't like wasting time (either mine or my opponent's.)
If he has been Bm'ing at all, I'll just rope. Then concede when it is his turn.
If it is a class that still needs to get to 60, I'll play my cards and try to kill myself.
