Made a shit warrior deck designed just to beat taunt spam druid (i try to tinker as many thing as possible using zola and DMH), worked perfectly, the moment where he spent 30 seconds mousing over witching hour to make sure the cart text had not been changed was just amazing
I played the most interresting game I have played in a long time today!
I wanted to play jade druid vs deckswap druid, and got it on the 2nd try. My gameplan was to keep a Jade Idol until the deckswapping was done, and be so far ahead on the jade golem size that he could not come back. I tried to draw my deck as quickly as possible so he would not have anything to swap with, and he went for a lot of armor. Eventually, he played his first UI, and filled his hand. Naturalize was ready and burned his 2 last cards... Aviana and Kun the Forgotten King! Easy game easy life...nope! I probably screwed up something, and he played Azalina Soulthief and successfully went jade druid himself! After a long and weird battle, we were both low on health and we both had a Jade Idol in our deck! I did not have lethal, so traded my 13-13 Jade Golem into his 12-12, and made a 14-14 with my last Jade Idol and armored up. It did the trick, with 2 health left after fatigue next turn...puh! The gameplan BARELY worked, but gg indeed!
This was a pretty funny (to me) arena game. Getting lyra off a random elemental card and transitioning into lyra priest as a shaman. That SWD pull must have made him so salty, but I don't care, I was loving it.
edit: Actual line of thought in this 25 minute (triple Benedictus) game: "He doesn't have a second Amara, maybe I can get this third Alexstraza to stick."
I'm rather enjoying the shape of the meta after the nerfs for several reasons: -
Warlocks aren't everywhere
Even Shaman related creativity
Point 2 is great for those in deck brewing as the new Odd/Even decks almost allow a gentle step into those that want to start tinkering with decks. In both paladin and Shaman decks, we've started seeing some cards that haven't seen life for a while. I'm very much liking seeing what odd and even cards we can tinker with. It's rather funny to add Milhouse to an even Shaman Deck and seeing the "wtf" set of hover reactions..
Wish I had a screenshot for this, but I was playing Tess Rogue in standard with a friend this morning, who was playing Warrior. I got Dead Man's Hand from Hallucination, then later played DK Valeera. Because of the new hero power, after you play Tess, you have a second Tess in hand, which then gets reshuffled into your deck because of Dead Man's Hand.
I had to concede so I could finish getting ready for work but I had 38 cards in my deck, which contained 5 more Shadowsteps and 4 more Tess's, which would only increase from that point on.
And ya'll thought Tess was bad.

Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.
A few days ago I had one of those Millhouse Manastorm moments.
Playing against an Odd Rogue with an Even Hunter. Face Collector gives him Millhouse, plays it. And thanks to that I got to play Putricide into two secrets, thus generating four, one of them Misdirection. And rogue got to hit her own face against a fungalmanced Millhouse, getting into lethal range.
Man, had I been recording that, and I would have sent it to Trolden, Rage Orc or something and get it to official videos.
Playing a spell hunter vs. taunt druid. He's blown the naturalizes on some big Rexxar creatures already so he has none and drops his hardonox. I clear his board so only the Hardonox remains. He uses the spellstone on it to damage it down to 2 life and swings at me with it activating my trap. Apparently he thought I had Wandering Monster or Explosive trap there... I had Freezing. Have fun with that 11 mana card in your hand! Got the rage disconnect on that one.
I had the most glorious thing just happen. I'm playing a weird combo druid, so naturally I have a hard time with aggro decks like paladin. It's turn 4 and he has a full board, of course why not. I do a hail mary- play coin Fatespinner with the deal three damage to everything deathrattle. I'm praying he doesn't have silence and I can survive just one more turn.
Get this- he plays level up, and trades his shield minions into it (bursting their bubbles), killing his two 2/1s and five upgraded dudes, before dealing any face damage.
This is rank 6 mind you. Apparently he never saw the card before? Or maybe he thought it would chose the buff deathrattle for some ungodly reason? LOL
King Togwaggle
Playing Meme Warlock.
Played Summoning Portal on Curve and the druid never cleared it.
Then dropped King Togwaggle on Turn 8 and tapped. I took his Hadronox
Then I faceless his The Lich King
Then I stole his hand with Azalina Soulthief
GG
LoL
Have to say, Army of the Dead into perfect positioning of two Flametongue Totems and an Al'Akir the Windlord in between for 14 damage perfect lethal is pretty disgustingly good.
Beating you opponent with a 10/10 windfury galvadon on turn 6 in odd quest paladin.
The opponent was a good sport about it.
How did this happen?
Just did my biggest combo in HS - 60 small rocks into The Whisperer's face on turn 2.

A true mirror match.

Just got to rank 5. Feel amazing for a F2P player that plays only a couple of hour / week.
Feels good man
Congrats! Feels pretty great to have your hard work pay off, doesn't it?

Prince Liam from Hallucination. I had a single 1-cost spell in my deck, and this is what it made.
Saved me from lethal.

I had a massive lead on the board and he couldn't afford to wait another turn to summon it for free.
