I bought some packs from all expansions and managed to get legendaries: King Mosh, Kathrena Winterwisp and Houndmaster Shaw. I'm not too stoked about them, but I think the latter two are rather useful and could benefit in upcoming expansions.
My concern is King Mosh, I'm not really sure what kind of Warrior deck I can build around it. Thinking of dusting it.
He's seeing some use in Odd Warrior decks as part of a turn 10 board clear and (I think the card is called..) Whirlwind.
Well done on your great packs though.
I started playing a Odd warrior deck and King mosh is insane if used at the right time with whirlwind. And it's stats are insane as well.
Odd Warrior does sound like a fun deck to play. Alright, looks like I'll be crafting Baku the Mooneater then. Thanks guys!
I'm experimenting with an Even Shaman atm and I'm finding it rather fun. Had a great match against a Spell Hunter who used his Hero card to clear my board....two turns later I did the same thing back.
From this point, the game was a see-saw battle that saw outright abuse of the hero powers. He generated some awesome monsters and answered a lot of my threats with some really interesting combinations. Adding the new pools of monster to Rexxar was a great idea.
On the reverse, Hagatha decided to put out (some good spells,..BEHAVE!) that let me respond in kind, setting up minions I could recycle to continually reload my hand till I got what I needed. Reach heals, taunts and so on.
Really fun. I'm very much enjoying Hagatha as a card.
The other day I DE’d my golden Aragul. Wasn’t having fun with him and found the playsyle clunky. I crafted Hagatha... after calling her a meme card for a long time...
I’m sorry Hagatha. I think I was intimidated by a powerful woman. You are fun, but also sexy and powerful. Hagatha, you are a very good card.
I'm playing Dane's Weasel Shaman and I think I discovered something pretty game breaking.
You know how the deck size is capped at 60 cards?
And you know how Weasel Tunneler shuffles into your opponent's deck when it dies?
Well as it turns out, the game does something really interesting when you've shuffled enough Weasels into your opponent's deck so they've hit the cap and can't go any further.
It shuffles them into your deck instead.
That's right.
I suddenly wasn't taking fatigue and I was wondering why, because it still showed the graphic for an empty deck. I hovered over my deck and sure enough, it said I had 3 cards. I played another couple of 1-mana Shudderwocks, watched my board of Weasels die, then suddenly I had more cards in my deck.
That means he would forever have a deck of Weasels AND I would never die to fatigue. Pretty hilarious.
Weird. Logic I think is the weasels Deathrattle goes off when they are destroyed in your opponent’s deck.
I wonder if your opponent had 60 cards and you psychic scream if those cards trigger a Deathrattle?
I beat quest rogue the other day as control lock too! The opponent misclicked and mulliganned the quest, and they didn't draw it until they had like 10 cards in their deck and had played out most of their minions. It was pretty funny trying to figure out what their deck was until I realized they had screwed up. "What vanilla rogue deck plays Novice Engineer?!" Sounds like you worked harder for it in your game but I'll take it, a win is a win and I ain't proud.
I like to play aggro decks with lots of burn spells so I've been playing Even Shaman in Wild. One thing I've learned about aggro burn decks is that in some games, you have to hope to peel the last points of damage off the top of your deck or you aren't going to win.
Playing against Big Priest I've got them down to 12 with a Jade Lightning in hand but my board is empty and they spellstone 4 taunt fatties back. I think "the only way I win is if I draw Crackle and roll Spell Power." Crackle comes rolling off the top, I hit my 1/4 Spell Power, Crackle deals 7, Jade Lightning finishes them off. Exact lethal with no cards left in hand is so satisfying to me.
just had a really fun dungeon run with Warrior with Justicar's Ring and Potion of Vitality. especially memorable was a boss#6 Sturmi...1st or 2nd turn I had the Ice Wall and thought "oh no, i can't play that, she'll copy it"...and then the next turn thought "OH YES, I SHOULD play that, she'll copy it!" which she proceeded to do until her board was full of minions that couldn't attack and i tanked up all game until she died of fatigue while i was sitting at nearly 200 points of health+armor xD
(and yep successfully cleared the dungeon, my 2nd clear with warrior and 21st overall in i believe 74 total runs)
Finally hit 12 wins in arena after over 1500 wins. Gone 11 wins a dozen times and always choked on the final boss. And I did it with warrior too. Had Gorehowl and Darius Crowley. Was so much fun I started playing rush on ladder.
Sunkeeper Tarim got me out of a bind again today. My opponent (a Taunt Druid) just pulled off his Hadronox combo to build a taunt wall. His mistake? He left 4 silver hand recruits on the board. The next turn, I play Tarim then buff up my recruits with my equipped Silver Sword, then proceeded to clear his board, and that was all she wrote.
I just won my first tavern brawl this week with a combination of Cairne and Zola. Then, when I opened the free pack, it gave me Cairne! Really good vibez. My pity timer was as low as 5 :)
Psychic Scream'd Sunkeeper Tarim and a bunch of recruits twice, he got it back within three turns each time even with 20ish cards, still won. Getting through 3 Tarim plays can be rough.
How to piss off a Mage in Hearthstone: - Adapt a Dire Mole to be untargetable by spells and hero powers - Buff it to infinity with Houndmaster and Crackling Razormaw
I eventually buffed my dear Dire Mole to a 7/10, and the Mage just has no answer for it. She rage-quit soon after, haha. To top it off, went 10-1 with that midrange Hunter deck. feelsgoodman
I was two wins away from reaching rank 5 for the first time (i've been playing two months) and i got matched up with a legend player. I was ready to load up the salt thread but i managed to beat the druid in fatigue barely. I don't even want to queue up again but i only need one more win.
I decided to play HS at 2 AM yesterday and I got matched against N'Zoth Hadronox Druid. You know that type of game where after its finished you just smile and you are glad that you play Hearthsotne? This was exactly that feeling. My Reno Mage was fighting trough his Deathlords and 8 Hadronoxes. We both ended up in 10 fatique damage where he finally died. Man it was amazing. He was pretty lucky by ressurecting Hadronox trough Witching Hour with 2 differents sheeps in the ressurection pool but I'm not even mad xD

INFINITE ZOLA (in this week's Tavern Brawl)

Triple Legendary Pack, woot!. All good ones too (Shudderwock, Houndmaster Shaw, The Glass Knight), has been a while since that happened :)

Beating Hagatha as... Hagatha.
I got her from Undercity Huckster. I also had the Spell Damage +3 bonus which was just insane here.
