If you're tired of playing against aggro decks, try putting a Hecklebot or two into your deck for the insane value and memes, and you should face significantly more control based decks afterwards. It looks like the game is somehow altering your opponents depending on how well your deck is created against specific decks. I have tons of anti-aggro, but I noticed the change right after adding Hecklebots in. I have tested this at different ranks in a lot of different games, and the change is very noticeable always. Sure, it can suck if you get unlucky and fish that Tirion with Hecklebot (Have removal when you play it against slow decks), but it should still be more enjoyable and easier (Depending on your deck) than some aggro decks! I know I enjoy myself much more against slower decks. And when you get that Brann from a hunter's deck without the battlecry, they often concede on the spot.
I remember also testing similar niche cards some time ago, mainly secret removal, after facing about 18 secret decks in every 30 games. You guessed right, there was less than half as many secret users after the change! But sadly they got replaced by other aggro opponents mostly, so no good vibes from there, lol.
Has anyone else experimented with other cards to counter specific decks?

That's so cool I didn't realise they did that! As for countering specific decks lets just say I had a big problem with mech hunter... until I played every silence card available in a priest deck and they weren't so bad any more.
This expansion has been good to me to be honest. After not saving gold early enough i was able to still buy 30ish something packs. Got like 1 legendary (Bran) out of it besides the quest so that got me bothered a bit. Now this brawl came along and with Zalae's quest shaman i got 11-3, 7-3 and 6-3 on the last day, which got me about 450g and some packs. I spent some on packs and decided to use the last 150 on an arena, which has been a while. After winning 10-2 i felt some presure, but finally made it to the end! 12-2 for me! Now that got me another 490g and a pack, which also contained Hack the System. I know it's not the best, but it felt like icing on the cake. Hurray for the lucky mutha (me)!
A great earthquake was felt for the Big Priest mains. C'Thun Emeriss Forever :) This goes for that players, I will enjoy it while I order my screenshots on my desk.
This game was so satisfying it started my day very well. You can feel it the entire game that the opponent felt strong with all his removal and I'm pretty sure he didn't feel it coming when it went to fatigue.
I'm sure some people would concede after a while but this time I just wouldn't want to give up. I got rewarded and control warrior just got a lesson in his own gameplan.
6 wins in a row with my big priest deck, just wow. I can not stop laughting how stupid the deck is and it still wins. I thought I will never have any fun in the game anymore. The deck has no epics, contains only 2 legendaries - Vargoth and Barnes, other cards are rare, common and basic ones.
If only I could see the face of my opponent at that moment.
There's nothing quite like having a neck-and-neck, exhilarating game, and then just when the match ends, both players emote "Well Played" at the exact same time.
It brings a smile to my face every time, even if I lost.
Don't know whether this is the right thread to be posting this on, but I would personally recommend people to fork out the 20 bucks on the current shop deal.
I got one of the random legendary cards from SoU that I needed (Untapped Potential) + additional 4 Legendaries, along with 4 Epics + a Conjurer's Calling (full dust value) and a golden common (Silver Sword).
I was personally joyous over the pack to legendary/epic ratio.
I always dust any and all Mage and Priest Legendaries and Epics. I've always done this because I hate those two classes and never play them. Dusting a golden FLJ way back was very satisfying.
However, I never bother to dust the Commons or Rares because it doesn't seem worth the effort. Well, there was over 2700 dust in them Commons and Rares! Very pleased with my dust haul. :)
