Arena. I've got a low-curve Druid which I thought was done for at 2/2, but I grind out 4 straight to end 6/3. The deck topped out at 5 mana, so it was wicked low on end-game threats, but some solid removal (Swipe, Bite, and three Starfall) and I was often able to just tempo out with stuff like 2x Fire Fly and a King Mukla.
There was a sweet game against a priest, Firefly into Stubborn Gastropod on Turn 2, he doesn't play into it, so I skip my attacks and develop Hyldnir Frostrider so they can attack the next turn. In order not to get too far behind and to look for better plays, he drops the new Possibility Seeker. However, I've been holding Deathspeaker, so I've still got my Gastropod after clearing for free.
The loss, however, was kinda epic. Mage gets Lock and Load from Consider the Past (he also got Dragonfire Potion, which is kinda whack, but still). What does he get from that Lock and Load? Bloody Kathrena Winterwisp, which pulls first a Giant Wasp, and then a Vex Crow, when he still had two Bananas in his hand. Can't even be mad to lose like that. Makes up for the BS Dragonfire pull. XD
Playing a match as Big Spell mage against an elemental Mage. He plays Deck of Wonders. After we've both got Frost Lich Jaina out, his first "wonder" comes out. What is it?
Man I just reached rank 5 for the first time and I couldn't be happier, I know It isn't that big of an achievement and the that the real tough game is from here to legend but I honestly feel like I touched the sky lol, not only can play with the kinda big boys now which in theory should make me a better player but I'll also get that sweet golden epic at the end of the month which will either be an amazing addition to my collection or will give be 400 extra dust which I'll probably save for next expansion. I've been playing for almost a year now so idk if I got my first 5 fast or super slow but I honestly don't care lol. Did it with recruit keleseth hunter from rank 8 to 5 on 2 days.
Played 11 games today with Quest Warrior. I faced 5 Odd Paladins along the way, and went 4-1 against them all while keeping the quest (the lone loss being a disconnect, an impending win as I had him down to 8 health). Who says you need to discard the quest whenever you face aggro decks? :P
So I was playing against a Taunt Druid as a Quest Warrior, and I'm losing badly. I'm down to 10 health while he's still at full health with 20+ armor. I manage to hold on and complete the quest, putting up taunt minions every now and then to slow him down. He finally plays the Hadronox-Naturalize combo, which I counter with Brawl. The cocky schmuck then proceeds to taunt me with "My Greetings" as he prepares to play Witching Hour. He plays it and it summons...a raptor generated by my Cornered Sentry earlier. But not to worry, he has another Witching Hour in hand which summons...another raptor. Oh, how I enjoyed hurling emotes at him afterwards until he finally conceded.
I won one of the hardest matchups for Miracle Rogue yesterday - the Token Druid. It was an extremely intense game: knowing that I'm unfavored I went face with 11/3 Blink Fox and slammed 10/10 Edwin on the board on turn 4. By the time the opponent was at 8 health, he had a teacher and 1 apprentice on the board. He grew so desperate that played double Savage Roar (!!!) to clear my Edwin and the rest of the board. A couple of turns later he played UI and then, the next turn after that, spent double (!!!) Branching Paths to armor up. I was thinking then, 'Ok, what's your win condition now, bro?' As I was slowly chipping away his armor, the druid then made an attempt to overwhelm me with Wispering Woods into Soul of the Forest, but I managed to clear everything but 2 treants with Fan of Knives into SI:7, backstab and trades. His last hope was Spreading Plague, but after he played it into my 4-minion board (3x 4/4 spiders and a 5/5 Hench Clan Thug), I showed him why the deck is called Miracle Rogue: Prep-Sap-Sap-double trade into 2 remaining taunts-8 damage in the face with the 2 spiders-Leeroy face-Shadowstep Leeroy-Leeroy face for exact 20 hp lethal.
As I was Shadowstepping my Leeroy, the opponent started to spam 'You will wither and rot!' He didn't realize how satisfying it was for me to see this ^_^
I was playing my homebrew tiger druid on standard ladder against control mage. I slammed both astral tigers out early on, which promptly got polymorphed. The opponent started emoting like crazy. The joke was on him though, those tigers were just bait to get the polymorphs out of the way. Fast forward about 10 turns and my board was 1 lich king, 2 cubes containing lich kings and 2 hadronoxes also containing lich kings. My hand was full of lich king cards, all hard removal was exhausted and he conceded soon after
In another game vs taunt warrior, I feared cornered sentry so I played both witching hours out early on my Arfus. The cornered sentry came out just one turn after. Using my lich king cards, I dominated the midgame. I played out my actual lich king on curve but it got removed. Luckily, the opponent later played his own and I stole it with frostmourne. When the weapon popped, I used a combination of cubes and facelesses to make a lich king army impervious to brawl and rendered his rag hero power useless. I won the game with 4 lich kings on board. My only regret was milling my hadronox because of too many lich king cards. I could have had even more lich kings!
I was playing a kind of miracle rogue, but with a lot of spell damage cards and Headcrack and stuff like that. Was playing against spiteful priest, he puts some serious pressure on me, with Cobalt Scalebane and he also got Tyrantus from his summoner. I played Blink Fox earlier and got Shadowreaper Anduin. He had 4 minions, all with 5+ ATK, so I play SRA and wipe his board. Turns out, the hero power is really strong in miracle rogue. I totally dominated him with plays like Eviscerate -> hero power -> Headcrack -> hero power every turn, it was so amazing :D
Other game, i played the same deck but against elemental mage. He already played the DK and had a big board of elementals. I play Pickpocket 5 times and get Sorcerer’s Apprentice and Molten Reflection. Next turn I play them for into infinite Cheap Shot to wipe his WHOLE board for free! Was so funny luck FeelsGoodMan

do you understand how good it feels to beat otk mage with THEIR bullshit combo as Tess Rogue? Getting double Ice Block, Antonidas, and double Simulacrum? Ensuring that you will never actually lose the game to this stupid combo, and forcing Mage to use both Ice Blocks way before they want to?
Azalina is the my favorite card in all of Hearthstone.

Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.
I just want to share my love for Odd paladin. It's just one of funniest decks in this meta and I urge all of you to play it more often. Because it's just so damn easy to beat. Major props to everyone who plays this wonderful deck. :-)

I didn't think I'd actually survive against a megafin shaman as beast hunter.

If he wasn't completely terrible you probably wouldn't have :D
Careful with using mana and ordering of play (trade webspinner before hero power in case you get a 1 or 2 drop you want to play).
Playing a match as Big Spell mage against an elemental Mage. He plays Deck of Wonders. After we've both got Frost Lich Jaina out, his first "wonder" comes out. What is it?
Dinomancy. Ouch.
To give him credit, he stuck it out for a couple more turns but after getting such a useless hero power, he didn't stand a chance.
Who needs C'Thun when you can just go Blink Fox -> Rhonin -> triple Arcane Missiles -> Tess Greymane?

My Big Spell Mage just stomped all over a Miracle Rogue even though I didn't see Dragoncaller Alanna
Satisfying, because I really hate playing against Rogue no matter what deck I use.
Got a golden king mukkla today ROFL

Finishing off an unsespecting Shudderwock Shaman with Leeroy buffed by Val'anyr and Blessed Champion. 'That's incredible!' ? Indeed ^_^
Beating Taunt Druid with Big Spell Mage will never not be satisfying.

I spend 16 days climbing the ladder, bouncing between rank 10 and 5.
I go from rank 10 to rank 5 in 2 hours with a meme druid deck.
I don't know how to feel
