Last night I played a friend for 80g. He was able to open a pack, accordingly. He got Aluneth from the pack which was the one card he desperately wanted.
No direct benefit for me, but it is nice to think I sort of, kind of played an indirect role in someone enjoying the game... for once!
Pretty sure I just prevented a rank 11 Spiteful Dragon Priest from hitting rank 10.
via weasel priest.
fuck that guy I SINCERELY hope he never hits rank 10. ever.
Wow, what an asshole
That guy has some issues, mate. He constantly pops up in my notifications and he's either complaining (and saying seriously wierd shit lol) about losing, or he's coming here posting stuff like that. Maybe it's therapy, but for sure this is just ridiculous...
I played Elemental Mage vs Weapon Rogue. He had Kingsbane at 9/1, 3 health remaining, dormant The Darkness is his only minion. I draw Babbling Book into Freezing Potion, goes to face. Opponent plays blade flurry to clear my board. Next turn I draw candle 1 into candle 2 into candle 3, The Darkness wakes up. I play Primordial Glyph and Arcane Missiles is my best option. Dennis fires away, and it goes face, face, face, epic win.
Rank 15 is a horrible place to be right now, but little things like this make it bearable.
Got an amazing start to the championship rounds today. Brawl pack and the free un'goro pack we all got both netted me legendaries.
I know tinkmaster isn't exactly a crazy classic legendary, but the fact that the pack had two rares and an epic (that I didn't already have) was pretty sweet.
Golden Hemet Nesingwary! I'm actually excited for this card because I like to tinker around with different deck ideas. I was also super pleased about a golden radiant elemental, whose art I'm actually really fond of.
Won against Razakus priest with my 35 legendaries paladin. Game was at 5th rank, guy had Raza on 5, Anduin wasnt bottom deck, but priest was cocky, played Velen for tempo and I punished him. Felt super good.
Facing off against a Jade Druid in wild as a Reno N'Zoth C'Thun rogue deck. Ended up already having summoned 3 11/11 Thaddius by the time the druid was cranking out 10/10 jades. With a shadowstepped N'Zoth I also had 4 more deathrattles to pop to summon four more Thaddius. Tempo and greed. Better luck next time Jade Druid, 'Destroyer of Control Decks'.
Had by far my easiest 10->5 climb, Tempo Rogue is so powerful, really happy I crafted the 2 missing Vilespines, 3 months late, but better than nothing. Never enjoyed playing Rogue, but I pretty much play only Mill, Tempo or Miracle Rogue for past few weeks.
NB: I'm aware I'm going straight to hell for this but it amused me so...
Taking care of Warrior daily quest in casual. I'm gunning for a full gold classic set in the long term so was able to assemble a Golden Pirate Deck. Run into the same druid three times who promptly concedes on games 2 / 3. Easy wins. Cue the friend request but no words are spoken. I would have taken the salt and engaged in dialogue.
I spectate one of his games about half hour later and get the swiftest "de-spectate and defriend" I've ever encountered, which made me laugh.
Aye, this is just a friendly reminder to the world: life is awesome, people as a whole are excellent and right now is a golden age of many things like gaming, movies and general technology!
I'm not sure if this is the right thread, but here goes: After losing a bunch of games in a row, I realized that I need to go back to review some HS basics. So I decided to watch Trumps Basic Teachings, and play the deck from first video, which was a mage deck. I had the luck of encountering another mage as my opponent. I was struggling to get rid of minions first few turns, and then something happened. The enemy mage decided that it would be fun to use King Togwaggle. But my opponent didn't anticipate that I would draw a DK Jaina right after he used Tog. Poor player tried his/her best to beat me, but since I never swapped the decks back, and my, now his deck, was full of basic cards from a 2014 Trump video, he proceeded to lose miserably, spamming wow emotes.
Shoutout to Muvi for an insanely satisfying game! :D

I've no clue what I'm doing...
That feeling when you get the "play 50 druid cards" quest and queue into a slow matchup. Quest Progress? 43 cards played. XP
Opened a pack after an Arena run, and got TWO legendaries in one pack, Aluneth and a golden Temporus! I've never had anything like that happen before!
The Weaseling is real :)
30 minutes of intense weasel action. The battery nearly died...
But victory is mine.

I've been practicing a little in casual with Miracle Rogue (I don't want to lose my hard earned Rank 3) and, man, IT IS SO GOOD to play this deck!

I have 9 HP left as evolve shaman in wild.
Token druid has 4 minions on the board and, with hero power, 7 damage.
I have 4 small minions on the board, one is healing totem.
Druid is on 23 HP.
I have no cards in my hand.
Druid attacks my minions who pose no threat instead of going face and finishing me off on the following turn.
This gives me the advantage and I manage to beat him, somehow.
He adds me to babyrage that he lost only because I ''got lucky''. I am indeed lucky that you don't know basic math :)
