Spent some time in casual yesterday with a minion based aggro deck. Nothing beats running into off the shelf meta decks that expect you to be AK47 Anduin when you're not. Druids leaving themselves open to 3 mindblasts or NEVER expecting a priest to carry Leeroy Jenkins had me in fits and giggles.
And kudos to players that beat me with thier own homebrew decks too.
Playing casual for my hunter daily. Playing a miracle rogue who quits half way through and instantly adds me. I think I can see where this is going so add him back. The gist was
TROGG NO ST - No, wrong guy... "Some flavour of insult regarding try-hard"
Happily explain I'm doing my dailys
"Some flavour of text wishing me a cancerous death"
Defriend
I get tilt I really do. I don't think a casual-playing miracle rogue is in a position to call me a try hard. I'd actually love it if self-righteous keyboard crusaders actually waited for a retort to thier juvenile insults.
This is in the pepper thread as he didn't ruin my mood and I actually thought it was a good game.
Playing some Giants Hunter in casual just to grind a few 10g & facing this random pally. Turn 4 I drop Naga & 2 giants. Guy yolos & Holy Wraths my face, hitting me for 25 damage for exact lethal! Lol I'm not even mad I thought it was funny that he took such a yolo play & it totally paid off for him!
Guess my super fast giant aggro deck wasn't fast enough, eh? ;P
he hit me with rag hero power in the face 7 times, all leading to my deathwing being faced with a sheildbearer and goldshire footman (crazy right?) he missed the deciding 8 damage and hit deathwing allowing me to double swipe face and hero power the sheildbeaer for lethal two turns into fatigue.
So i am playing meme 40 damage Mindblast OTK deck in Wild Casual. Playing against N'Zoth priest. Match is going rather poor for me, but i have all the combo pieces in hand and only waiting for Emperor to discount them all. Opponent has sizable board and removes all the threats i manage to put on my side. I finally topdeck Emperor, count the total damage my opponent has and he's 1 off lethal. So i slam the Emperor down and pass turn. He goes face, plays some more minions on board, leaves me at 1 hp and says "Greetings". Well, "Greetings", indeed.
after a frustrating few days of trying to get to rank 10 so I can just chill for the rest of the season, I started the day (yesterday evening) rank 15 full stars, I was actually at rank 13 but I convinced myself I wasn't tilted (i was so tilted but you know how it is) anyway set off and within a couple hours (and 5 attempts at the 'final boss') managed to cruise through with big priest.... it's only a minor achievement but this month for me has been one of the hardest seasons to rank, everyone is running insanely strong decks and it's been so hard to get any sort of win streak going, least now I can chill and play some fun decks for a week or so xD
I just created a Taunty Druid deck, and I'm at level 24 here just trying to level up to 20 to begin with. Anyway, up comes my opponent, Goldy Priest, with a deck that I will clearly lose to 100 out of 100 times. You know he had that golden hero thing which doesn't always mean he's good, but in this case it did. So what did I do? I made him beat every singly Taunty card, many of which I ressurected with the Bring Back Me Tauntys if you Kills Me effect, and made him earn the victory to the very end. I quit when I had 3 cards left and his C'Thulu had 31 attack and hadn't come out yet, and my side of the board was empty. I didn't see any point in watching my hero get hit 31 times in a row, and I knew it was about to come out. But what I'm saying is, I gave him the ol' pepper!
I have finally reached LEGEND! I have been playing since closed Beta and was never really to invested to push past Rank 5. But Monday night I said screw it, made a Pirate warrior deck (a deck which I usually despise, but it's kinda rare these days and I think underrated in this meta) and reached Legend Wednesday afternoon! :) Now, I can play silly fun meme decks again until the end of the season! :D Oh and I guess do my Uni assignments...
Then he was like "mmm!" and I was like "ahhaa!" and then he was all "phaahaw!" and so I was all "baboom!!" then he was like "ptah ptahh" and I was all "grrrrr" then he played "iddly iddly iddly" then finally I went "doot doot dOOOT!"
I was playing Renounce Darkness Warlock in Wild Ranked (at rank 20, as one might expect.) I faced a mage, who for some reason had a Coldarra Drake. I played The Mistcaller around turn six or seven. Fast forward to post-turn 10, I had a 4 attack Totem Golem on board with 1 health, Jaina at 10 health... and a topdecked Al'Akir ready to deal a boosted 8 damage. The double "My magic will tear you apart!" after that lethal was hilarious.
I love getting wins with fun decks like this.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
162 ladder wins with Renouncelock and counting! Reno, Zoo, Cube, Even; they all run Renounce Darkness in my lists!
When you're playing in wild casual and win 4/5 of your games as the following: Mill Druid, Aviana K'Thun Druid, Mech Rogue, & Renounce Lock. Followed with some N'Thun Reno Rogue as well.
So glad that I can find joy in the game and win some games without having to pressure myself to play the tier-deck game. :)
Playing Tempo Mage against Aggro Druid to get rank 5. Hand is bad but we have Firelands on 7 and also on 5 because Glyph. Druid has both Savage Roars this game.
Portals give me Second-Rate Bruiser and Alley Armorsmith!
I love these new Shaman totem cards. Don't know how useful they'll be, but for some reason I love totems and stuff, and I also love Al'Akir as he's the coolest elemental brother.
On the other hand, it's possible Shaman will be a meme class again, so it's not so... peppery?
Hello friends. Very new here and to the game. Nothing but luck in my victories. But Im having a great time. I hate to ask in this thread but this seemed the safest bet. Will we be able to save up our gold in game to buy the expansion or will that not be an option. I’m so sorry if this post doesn’t belong here but thank you all for your time.

You can save up, but in all honesty you should have been saving earlier than this if you weren't buying cards with real money. Personally, I start saving up 2/3 of my gold earned for the next expansion immediately when the current expansion releases.

Thank you. I knew I should have been. Oh well I’ll know better next time. Lol. I had 1100 gold saved and just blew it on cards. How much will it be
