Look up the decks that he has been used in and test him out a little. If you don't like him disenchant it. I think he works best in a spare parts mage and druid.
By no means OP, but he only costs 6 mana and synergizes well with any deck with cheap spells. As mentioned above he's great with Spare Parts. I've also seen him used in Rogue decks, Warlock decks (since he's a Demon) and even a Secret Paladin deck.
Unless you really need the dust I would keep him.

I use it in a kind of mid-range demon-lock sometimes with my gf's account (also have Lord Jaraxxus and Mal'Ganis) and it works well if other threats are on the board and you got some low-cost cards in hand. Also good if summoning it through Voidcaller on your turn and getting to use cards instantly for value.

I agree with this.
I am not sure how viable at high ranks, say 5+ (because that's the level I am at), but in a demon synergy deck, he is fine. He can make targets for the (errr forgot the name) 3/3 that sucks up creatures, he can get played for free if a voidcaller hits him...
and lets not forget - if he gets BGH killed, that leaves one less BGH for Mal'Ghanis! (and most people only run one anyway and are pretty trigger happy with it)
And, yes, the health is low, but 7\5 is fair for (6) mana...
I just want to know. Opened him in a pack.
No
Any card is playable, you just gotta make them fit
Why Illi is good
-Huge Tempo if you can get the tokens
-Good Board gain
-Demon Synergy
Bad:
-Weak HP(only 5)
-To get more use you have to wait till turn 8+
-Tokens are easy to remove(1 HP)
He can fit in some spellslinger mage decks due to their low cost spells to make a huge board. Its up to you how to play him
Thanks, I'll try that.

Make it in Rogue deck, and conceal it for a turn, to set up your board.
