I've been playing Hearthstone for about a year now and I've never made it to legend. Everyone always says don't worry you'll make it there eventually, but that doesn't really help at all in the climb. My highest rank achieved is 5 mostly with a Midrange Paladin but I've never made it higher than that.
I don't think I'm a bad player. It might be because of all of those SMorc decks out there or just that RNJesus isn't on my side.
I dunno. Well I made this thread for anyone with any helpful advice or any decklists that can help me achieve legend pretty easily.
I am somewhat of a F2P player (I buy things every like 6 months+) so nothing too expensive please, however I rather not play any cancer decks such as: Eboladin, Aggro Rogue or Facehunter.
My battletag is on the left if anyone wants to be a coach of some sort :)
Well it is certainly not easy. I've made it to 3 once, 4 twice and 5 three times, but also never made it all the way to legend.
I think Tempo Mage is really strong right now, and not too expensive. And I prefer it without flamewakers.
Then, good old combo druid is still great and not overly expensive, though there are several rares. I've seen a lot of the great streamers climbing and doing well with Druid both last season and now. That would be my suggestion.
I've made it to legend three times, and everytime I got there I made it with some kind of aggro deck (Mechmage, Mix between Midrange / Face Hunter and last time with zoo). The decks might be considered "braindead" or "cancer" but seriously, if you want to make it to legend, you should play a deck which can consistently win you games and more importantly which makes the games faster, regardless of winning or losing. Getting legend is a grind, so you want to use your time as effective as possible and aggro decks are just the best way to get to it.
I would advice you to use the secret pally deck with secretkeepers and around 10 secrets, its super effective and Mysterious Challenger is just completely broken.

Unfortunately atm I don't have enough dust for this deck....
Same here. I was trying with a lot of decks, but i was never on time with any mid or control.I got legend with a fast hybrid hunter 2-3 seasons back fairly easy.

you can make it to legend with midrange paladin but might require some time to grind out your win since eventually you might have horrible starting hand or just bad luck. Usually midrange paladin is consistent enough to get legend

I've tried this deck already but everyday ends in a horrible losestreak. Can't really pull it off against these ebola/secredins
Being good is not even the most important part of the way to legend. It's mostly mental resilience.
Play as you don't even care about the game like you grind mobs in some mmorpg without overthinking details and paying attention to bming idiots and stupid aggro decks.
If you can make midrange paladin I believe you should have the cards to make flood/token paladin with quartermaster being the highest cost minion. I would switch between these two decks while you grind and most match up should be good enough for you to handle
Last month i hit Legend with Tempo-Mage atm i am rank 7 with Tempo-mage again mostly people consider this deck "aggro" belive me its not its all about identifying your own role from game to game some games yes you have to be aggresive other games you are the one who wants " controll" and draw cards alot i really like the deck but the hard part of it is to find the balance between making a deck with tempo and at the same time control you need the control part when your fighting aggro decks
No, you are just lazy and won't play a solid deck 'cause 2 cards. The deck will not suck until the point when you need those specific cards in hand, and that might not even happen. BUT EVEN IF IT DOES you'll have to be behind, topdeck it.. I mean, c'mon! Antonidas is not even on some lists! WTF.
I need some more decklists guys......................
You don't need decklists, you need the deck that you're comfortable with. Thats all. You will play this deck a lot and if you like the gameplay then you will be rewarded. What is your cruise control type of deck?

My favourite deck is by far Midrange Paladin, but it gets crushed everytime I face a Secretdin/Eboladin.
