What are you talking about? Aggro is absolutely terrible in the current meta, and will be completely unplayable after TGT.
Learn to play against aggro, tech in the correct cards, learn what to mulligan for and you're set.
I have hit legend 3 times with face hunter before so I am experienced, but it gets destroyed in so many match-ups this season because of how EASY it is to counter with very efficient anti aggro cards.
The real cancer is Zoo because it is actually tricky to find a proper hard-counter to it.
the problem, for me and other players, is that one part of the cycle is disgusting and not fun to play against, while the other parts are fun, smart, and strategic games
Agreed. Control decks are scum and need to die. Nothing worse than playing a 30 minute staring contest.
oh, it's really fun make a 30 cards deck and just play 5-10 card to win the game...
i can't understand these aggro players, u think this is a shooter game?
Hearthstone should allow any type of deck to compete.
Aggro decks are the antithesis of control decks, instead of holding cards, you play cards fast. You win fast with aggro, or you dont win at all. Simple as that.
Unfortunately, Blizzard doesn't seem to understand this since they are literally killing aggro decks with TGT, I think it is sad that some ways of playing the game are disallowed, but oh well, stick to tempo mage.
Well you don't like it but IT IS NEEDED, if aggro didn't exist, Hearthstone would be a very boring game.
It's like saying bees should all die because they sting....
Aggro is as important as Control and Combo decks. It is a very dumb and thoughtless thing to say to say to do the contrary. I find it a bit contradictory that you can believe to promote "strategic play" when you aren't even thinking 2 seconds before declaring such things.

I kinda agree, last few days i been laddering with my dragon priest , soul of the forest druid and secret paldin decks only to play vs hunters.
I think something like 50% of the games maybe slightly less is vs hunter. another big part of the rest of the 50% is aggro paladin and mainly patron warrior n some other aggro decks like mech mage etc
I could tech more vs those decks but i just want to enjoy my comboy decks as many people are and its rly hard to play against those uninteractive brainless decks but hey when i win its worth it.
Most people complain about hunter and eboladin but actually they play that themselves or some other kind of netdeck with little thought towards deckbuilding. To my eyes all those that netdeck and dont take this game competitive (get good legend rank) are similar to brainles face hunters.
Try making a difference then complain about netdecking.
the problem, for me and other players, is that one part of the cycle is disgusting and not fun to play against, while the other parts are fun, smart, and strategic games
You clearly don't understand it, else you wouldn't make a fool of yourself whining about it.
Also it's bullshit that other parts are smart and strategic, most decks all do the same thing. 90% of the people playing a specific deck probably netdecked it and studied the guide by heart, that isn't my definition of smart and strategic.
Also there is probably more strategic in aggro decks, pretty sure you have to be a better player in general to achieve legend with aggro than with control, you just can't make any misplay in the first turns of an aggro match on a decent level while making a mistake in a control match is far less punishable.
"clearly more strategic in aggro decks"
a little part of me just died. i am at a loss for words here.
i DO understand it, what i have been saying this whole time is that I'm just salty because aggro digs are disgusting and not fun to play against
You're clearly to stupid to understand that statement but that wasn't a surprise to me by looking at the rest of your posts.
And also, there are clearly identifiable "disbalance points", but Blizzard does nothing to fix them. For example, Oil Rogue, Aggro Warr and Control Priest create the aforementioned Combo>Control>Aggro>Combo "ideal cycle" within Hearthstone meta. It is literally just a couple of super unfair cards / card interactions which break this cycle for HS. Some examples are Divine Favor for Aggro Paladin which solely makes the deck favorable in any "vs control" match up, (Grim Patron - Warsong Commander) interaction wich creates insanely flexible board-clearing tool to combo either with Frothing Berserker vs Control or with Armorsmith vs Aggro and so on.
Another narcissist with little understanding of the game and equally little empathy who wants to put their preferred experience before everyone else's. I really hope this is just a troll, otherwise this is quite sad.
In my opinion only Froathing Bersekrer - Patron Warrior Combo and Druid Combo ruin the game at higher ranks.
So many 30 + dmg combos where only 3 cards are needed when Emperor T is played earlier...which are literally impossible to forsee.
The combos just do too much dmg considering how easy they are to pull of.
This is the class ic VS Druid example:
* Druid plays shade of Nax or some other minion- where you have no direct answer if you are unlucky.
*Stalls the Game with Bulchers- Swipe and card draw.
*Druid plays Emperor T or directly Intervated Force of Nature + 2 Savage Roars...
= 22 dmg + the Shade of Nax with 4 Bonus dmg from Savage Roar...
* Game won. Profit.
Taunts doesnt soak up very much dmg here to pretect against this, and Swipe + Bulchers and more already makes it a bit hard to establish total dominance vs Druid.
I mostly play Control Priest- and my enemy Combo Druids always seem to make the 22+ dmg combo on turn 10...
There is just nothing you can do against it- you can just hope they only get a 14 dmg combo...which still is pretty sick considering only 2 cards are needed.
Froathing Berserker Comboe is also a freakin hell -and not fair at all - even though it's a little harder to pull of (since it requires more cards to combo). It is still far too easy to do the 30 + dmg in one turn--
I do however see a little hope in the new Chillmaw Dragon which kinda might counter both Patron and Druid combo with its Taunt and 3 dmg aoe deathrattle. Just a silence needed to wreck it though- but will stop combo for 1 round at least...
i dont find druid that hard to play against. just clear their minions, flood the board and stay above 14. sometimes they combo with 2 roars but thats a rare occasion. Druid combo is the comeback mechanic since, if the opponent gets ahead on board they almsot insta loose.
Both patron n druid interact with the board. patron interacts too good tbh and his combo potential is unreal.
Mage cn do 14 also with bloodmage fireball fireball. walrock does 16 with arcane golem power faceless. 10+ dmg combos on later turns isnt OP. 30+ is
Not interacting with the opponent and winning on turn 5 is Op also.
the problem, for me and other players, is that one part of the cycle is disgusting and not fun to play against, while the other parts are fun, smart, and strategic games
Well I'm quite sure it's your own fault for playing a deck that struggles against Aggro. It seems like you're just playing the wrong part of the cycle, a slow deck, and just ranting about aggro because all your pretty legendaries can't keep up with them.
I run face hunter till rank 5 every season because the games are 5x as fast. I have no desire to sit there for 10 minutes at a time waiting for 1 star when chances are my opponent is running agro as well. Get to legend and you won't have that problem.
Aggro is going to get worse, not better, with new cards.
See my post to understand why, but in nutshell, whenever Blizzard releases new cards they are more powerful versions of existing cards (for the same cost). This drives the play more and more towards the low end and away from the high end costs. In a few expansions there will be nothing but aggro decks out there. Actually it feels already like this now. Its rare for a game to go beyond turn 6 in my experience and when it does it's still one sided.. i.e. the game was not turned around by the winner, the winner kept the advantage all through the game.
Which is why I'm making specifically a anti hunter deck as soon as everything is released.
Play Mid-range Druid. I have a winning % vs both decks types. I do get wrecked from time to time, but hey, that's the nature of the game.
I suggest you play both Face Hunter and Shockadin to see how they play so you can learn to counter them instead of just coming on here and crying about it.
zoo is fine, that's a control deck
grim patrons are fine too, its Frothing-warsong that's the issue

the point of my post, is that aggro isn't fun to play against
win or loss

Balanced game: Combo > Control > Aggro > Combo.
Hearthstone right now: Combo > Control, Combo >< Aggro, Aggro > Control, Anti-Aggro >< Aggro, Combo > Anti-Aggro, Control > Anti-Aggro.

i agree, BUT when aggro represent 80% of played deck, you have to do something about it !
Sorry mate, but it's not the dream for everyone !
If these decks are all you play, tech in some anti-aggro and stomp on them.

SYLVANAS AND HARRISON JONES ARE SOOO FAST AGAINST AGGRO AHUEHUEHHU
Are you seriously thinking zoo is a control deck, just stay at rank 25 where you belong.
I run face hunter till rank 5 every season because the games are 5x as fast. I have no desire to sit there for 10 minutes at a time waiting for 1 star when chances are my opponent is running agro as well. Get to legend and you won't have that problem.

It's an Aggro deck that controls THE BOARD via buffing up little critters for value. Egg/Imps/Spiders + PO/Abusive/Argus. It's not a face deck.
Play Mid-range Druid. I have a winning % vs both decks types. I do get wrecked from time to time, but hey, that's the nature of the game.

Hope this helps.
You have to learn the rules of the game. And then you have to play better than anyone else.
You know what i find boring? Losing to a heavy epic and legendary cards control deck because he spent more money than me and was luckier from packs.
Aggro decks do well, are cheap and fun. If i want fair and not pay2win i go play arena or tavern brawl.
