Not only was his anti semitic remark disgusting but his raging is completely pointless.
There is no such thing as a 'fair' game in arena FFS. The only way for that to happen would be for both players to pick the same hero and draft the exact same 30 cards - a near statistical impossibility.
I do find that people BM and rage after arena games a lot more but I don't really understand why. I've won over 3500 arena games and had loads of 12 win runs. Sometimes you jut get a good deck or a good run.
The skilled arena player can turn an average deck into 10-12 wins and a terrible deck to 3-6 wins. Sometimes you just face a deck your's could never beat. Just accept it and move on.
I think Blizzard should impliment a way to send a small message with a friend request. That way people will know if they're actually being friendly or just douchbags.

Why not? retards like these deserve public shame, maybe youre one of them flamers.
Public shame you call it, public fame he calls it. "Look dude people postin' my flamin' in da webz! Awesome!" By showing such screenshots in the public YOU are spreading the hate he created. And it's all done to fulfill someone's need for pointless attention.
If you happen to get such a flame in the future (or anything else you consider offensive) contact Blizzard for whatever purpose you find appropriate but don't make threads to show something that should not be shown to the public. I bet there are some under aged users on this site who now wonder what does it mean to gas someone...
THINK before you post
Like they would have wondered, and cried, had it been posted directly to them in-game...
One time I added my opponent after the match to congratulate him for beating me with something really clever, he probably added me expecting BM thought.
Herathstone is 1 vs 1. Loosing is the result of YOUR actions. You can't blame anyone. RNG is not smth your opponent can master, so you can't rage at him for not being fair. So that is why this game has friendly players.
Oh, forgot smth: There is only 1 special occasion when players are not nice to each other: when 1 of them (only 1) is a HUNTARD.
This kind of thing is sad, because not too long ago when somebody used to add you as a "last played", it was most of the time to swap ideas and legitimately friend-list you. Now, it's like most of everybody just wants to rage on you when you accept. And for my part, fewer and fewer people are accepting my own friend invites also.
I just submitted a ticket with Blizz. Hope they take action towards this.
I really just laughed it off, but when thinking about it, this could have happened to a child...
Weirdest thing about it is; I didn't even BM... He conceded before match was over. And in Arena you HAVE to expect some serious hard counters to your deck as the build process is so random.
Anyways, thanks for your input :) And may the topdecks be ever in your favor <3
Not to be "that guy," but Blizzard isn't going to do anything because you deliberately added him as a friend when you didn't have to. If they tell you anything, it'll be to be more mindful in who you decide to accept friend requests from.
The funny thing is, you're telling people Blizzard probably won't do anything because "I accepted a friend request, BUT should have known I was doing so at the risk of being harassed"
Why should someone get away with verbal abuse, especially someone forcing another to be subjected to racial slurs and what not. All because they're the ones clearly upset about a loss.
ALSO, when you get a FRIEND Request, generally you want to believe they're asking to be FRIENDS. Why should I be abused because I was tricked into believing they wanted to be my friend AND not an enemy. There's also a TOS/Terms of Condition we all agree too when creating an battle.net/Hearthstone account, agreeing to RULES & regulations. I'm almost 100% certain it's against the rules and ToS too abuse someone in-game. Justifying this abuse almost certainly assures me you're "That Guy" who gets easily angered & attempts to get retribution via in-game verbal harassment.
Why should someone get away with verbal abuse, especially someone forcing another to be subjected to racial slurs and what not. All because they're the ones clearly upset about a loss.
Uhh... because of the freedom of speech? There was a place where you couldn't offend someone without going to labor camp for 15 years... it was called Soviet Union... Unless someone's speech induces and call for direct physical violence you can say anything to anyone especially in private. In our situation the receiver should contact Blizzard to suspend flamer's account and can call the police that he got threatened (although imo it's over-interpretation) but why did he go public with it? To tell others what to do in such a situation? Or was it the need for attention using this whole offence as an audience-magnet? I bet on the second ;)
"Why should I be abused because I was tricked into believing they wanted to be my friend AND not an enemy." - sorry this one is so inane I can't even comment on that... It shows what kind of person you are - someone who can find an abuse/offense/flame in anything because has issues with his own personality and self-value. I sincerely pity you because you're getting hurt by something said by a stranger dumbass like his words mean anything to you while they really don't. The fact that you "feel abused because you were tricked" clearly shows how naive and immature you are. Don't worry though - life will serve you worse situations than flaming in HS and the sooner you get over it the better it is for you ;)
Remember - someone can offend you only when you feel offended :) As long as you don't look and act like a victim he doesn't triumph.
Remember this one too - reacting in this manner kinda brings you down to flamer's level... unless you're a true-born policeman-crusader-inquisitor-priest-moralist ;)
Oh, don't pull the freedom of speech card. Sure, it's good to learn to take an insult, but you don't HAVE to. It doesn't bring you to the flamer's level to try and make a community a more pleasant place. In addition, the first amendment applies only to the government. Private corporations and individuals are free to censor speech in any manner they deem fit.
And Jesus Christ man. You're pulling every single insane anti-victim argument out your ass here, aren't you? That comment has like every antagonistic argument about rape victims I've ever heard rolled into a trivial thing about Hearthstone and some asshole.
Hearthstone is a math game. If you think it's overpowered, do the math, compare it to other similar cards, and then if it doesn't all add up, complain about it being overpowered.

You need to calm the hell down. No where did I say I think that people deserve to be verbally abused because they are foolish enough to accept friend requests after stomping someone. I was sharing my experience with a similar situation, and nothing more, if you don't like how Blizzard handled my experience, or how they handled this one, take it up with them.
not true ... I often add opponent as friend when he/she plays a great game. And I have acquainted with some cool kids/guys this way too. The ratio of good versus bad experience is about 7:3, so I continue to keep faith in HSers.
It's called a 'friend request', not a 'may i abuse you request' after all ...
I find the rage friend requests hilarious and since I'm a little bitch and bm when I'm salty I get a lot of those. Most of the time they give me a good laugh, however, the message that the op received is terrible. The guy who wrote it should be banned.

Report the player. Here in germany this week a popular Youtuber dropped some heavy "Gas them..."-lines, because the workers at the German Rail were protesting and now even the police is investigating the case.
A lot of people have no idea what freedom of speech actually means. All it means is that you are allowed to communicate your ideas without the government stopping you. It doesn't mean that anyone is forced to allow you to say whatever you like on their platform. Blizzard have every right to dictate what is and isn't allowed to be said in their game. Not only hate speech, they can ban anybody who says the word "leopard" if they like, that isn't restricting free speech.
Had a guy crush me then add me. Told me I shouldn't use emotes if I f&*^ing sucked. I added him back just to say thanks. A great ambassador for the game that guy.
I have been playing HS for about 6 months, and I have added everyone who has requested friendship with me, with absolutely no problems whatsoever. It's so stupid of blizzard to let this stuff go on on their games, as they are just hurting themselves. I really hate that kind of abuse and It makes you want to play a different game. Blizzard should enforce rules much more thoroughly and that kind of intent is not acceptable. I have had friends who bm on hearthstone, but they only bm by hovering over the player icon with the killing card, playing everything and waiting before attacking, etc. This crap is totally ...well... crap.

FUCK HUNTERS
I'm sorry but if you accept a friend/relaID inv after destroying someone you had that abuse coming.
I never accept realid/friend inv after a match, and I get spammed with them constantly - I just click deny/no/delete.
I don't even SEND out friend requests, for I have nothing to say to the other player (or bot).
Lots of salty people.
Mostly $$$ Warriors and Shamans who think they are pro since they are playing an "underplayed" class are so salty.
