I'm not sure I've wrapped my head around that yet, but it appears I've spent $4,322.10 on Hearthstone. Yes, all digits and decimals points are in their proper location. Alright, so moving past that ridiculous fact... what does it actually get you? Keep in mind this is for one account, spanning all 3 servers.

The rest of the total comes from 11 arena tickets and Naxxramas.
From all that, plus whatever gold I've acquired in-game (which is all quests/win 3 games, I almost never play arena), what do I actually have for all that?
NA (first and main server) - currently still have 900 gold and 2800 dust
I have all cards except for the following golden cards... (note i have disenchanted any regular cards that i already had golden copies of)

Asia (just started playing more since nothing left to do on NA)
For a complete set of all the cards I'm missing 9 rare cards, 45 epic cards, and 31 legendary.
I've never really kept track of my Hearthstone spending, but maybe I should have? I guess I don't have any regret since I've certainly played enough. Compared to any other console game (although I can't remember the last time I actually bought/played a console game) for example I'm sure my average $/hr is about the same.
I'm sure there are plenty of F2P people who will say this post is dumb, I have a F2P account I use as well and I wouldn't disagree. But for those who have spent money.... what do you think, how much is too much to spend on a game? How much have you spent?
Nope just crap RNG like everybody else... a code for golden ETC would be amazing though since it is my favorite card... ironically I will not spend $200 to get one on eBay
I think you just more or less told us why you have an ex and paying her child support also.. ROFL! All in good fun mate... over $2000 here, but I am in no hurry to catch up to ya! Love those goldies though!
A tip to anyone buying packs/etc. Do it with amazon coins. Purchase the coins from Amazon, then buy HS packs with those coins, and you receive a good portion of your coins back. In December they had a special and you got almost 25% extra.
All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act on their dreams with open eyes, to make them possible. - T. E. Lawrence
i know someone who spend $25,000 on a statue of a naked woman with a rabbit head and actual human hair... i would say this is a significantly better use of funding.
I'm not saying your post is dumb, my question is: after about a year, what do you get? You spent A LOT (at least for me) money, but for what?
Your question is certainly valid and I guess what I tried to answer with the original post and merely a factual example of my experience with what I've spent. More to your point though I guess the answer is really just as simple as 3130 packs. I guess I could say it was fun opening all those packs and certainly being able to build a solid collection on all 3 servers without the grind. I'm not sure there's really a reason for it anymore than why anybody dumps money into anything else.

Holy mother of god, I thought I spent a lot of money lol. Well met!
$4,300.00 on hearthstone...either you're a millionaire or you're going to end up homeless because you make poor financial decisions.
I pay my ex $1,200 a month in child support as well... i have 2 epics, still waiting for a legendary
Does Blizzard send you a Christmas card at least?
Nope just crap RNG like everybody else... a code for golden ETC would be amazing though since it is my favorite card... ironically I will not spend $200 to get one on eBay
OP, what do you do for a living and why is it mafia related?
Edit: Thanks for the numbers.
might be good to put a warning/limit on credit card or bnet if that is even possible. can lose track of spending, It's a bit like gambling.
actually it's exactly like gambling. playing the slots to get that legendary lol

Great post, though!
The 11 arena tickets got me. I have never bought a booster but must have paid for over 100 arena tickets whenever my supposed infinite run dries up...
Someone needs to learn how not go over board.
Hearthstone is a game of "copy and pasting"

For the same 80$ you were spending on 60 cards, through Amazon you would be getting 87 cards.

well played, sir.
At least your post will be a relief to all other players who have spent money on it (me included).
It shows you that actually you haven't spend that much money compared to other people (like you ) :)
The only part I don't get is: why play and pay on three servers ????
Wow! I can't imagine spending so much... but it must be nice to have that much disposable income for HS though.
i know someone who spend $25,000 on a statue of a naked woman with a rabbit head and actual human hair... i would say this is a significantly better use of funding.
And this is why companies (Blizzard) make addicting games. For some people games like these are more addicting than crack.
i mean, if you watch house of cards, the president of the united states plays monument valley, so i guess rich people spend money on games too!
If you have the funds and aren't avoiding other financial obligations, then more power to you. It's your money and you can spend it however you want.
