Just had a game where I was mage and got him down to 1 HP. ONE HP. Could kill him next turn. I was at 29 HP, yes 29.
I think it was just turn 10. He had been holding on a lot of cards, didn't think too much on it.
Then he pulled out Raging Worgen, gave it charge, double cruel taskmaster, and a variety of buffs, dumped his whole hand buffing him. At the end worgen had 15 HP. GG 30 dmg one turn.
It requires far more luck with the draw than the Hunter variant though since the Hunter one had card draw built in with the Buzzard. Not sure if this will get big since it's pretty risky to bet everything on a single card like that.
Consistency in a Molten Giant OTK is very easy to achieve in decks with a strong draw engine. There aren't many who play it, I'm assuming, is simply because Molten Giants are epic.
Yeah, I think that if there is a warrior OTK deck that's going to become popular, it is the Molten Giants that will usually give the end-blow. That Worgen kill was cool, but I wouldn't say thats very consistent.
Write-up found here. There's times here the deck feels very much like a "miracle rogue" of sorts, keeping the board clean and drawing until you have some insane combo. Between all the draw power with cantrips, acolyte, etc, consistency is not a real issue. You only need one giant to end the game considering all the support.
Again, the decks on average are much more expensive compared to UTHOTK, so there's that barrier of entry.
the deck that i encountered isn't a molten giant one but this could achieve the same thing i guess. That Raging Worgen though, only need to buff it up to 15 to do 30 dmg a turn. dayum.
For all those saying "you should've killed him before turn #", they run removals and other fodder minions/ card draw mechanics for that reason you know? And for that retard saying "it can be stopped by a goldshire footman" No, just no. That card is trash and why would you put it down in late game unless you don't have any other card to play.
Huh, I feel like Coldlight Oracle would be a pretty fun addition, the counterpart in my deck would be Acolyte of Pain I guess. To be fair, you could draw too much at times =P
i like aishi's version a lot. i think pyromancer is pretty key slow down the insane speed of warlock rush. i might find room for at least one frothing berserker just to take advantage of the incredible synergy between whirlwind, acolyte, wild pyro etc.
I think you should make sure to include Shield Block in this deck. It may give you enough armor to prevent the inevitable nerf-bat from doing any damage...

I did include Shield Block. It's important in some situations, but sometimes you must be careful. When you have the right hand, you must not armor up by no means whatsoever or you'll end up in the worst position ever: stuck at 15~~11 health.
IMO, rule of thumb: If at 22+ health, armor up all day. If lower than that, start taking damage and calculating risks.

This is my version, but I only use it for fun. It is so satisfying to do the combo but it take a very specific scenario usually to pull it off.

seems like a fun idea, I've got to knock out my warrior/pally 5 daily I'll give it a whirl.
