So I have seen around some forums and heard from people that Paladins are very good at countering mages. As you know mages have been the to dog for a while now and I started to play a Mage aggro tonight and won against every class but paladins I am not sure why. I am running the standered AGGRO AGGRO HAHAH PYROBLAST + PYROBLAST mage decks.
Any insite to the change of that meta or comments.
Haven't had any issues against pally, although I rarely run into them in ranked. Druid is really the only class that has consistently given me issues due to the large amount of healing they hold onto.
I did try running an aggro mage deck but found it to be too inconsistent and change to a control mage build so my milage would vary compared to yours.

Oooouuuuu Yeah it's odd I haven't seen many Druids that have healing in your toolbox. will consider ;)
I was watching a stream earlier today of someone going between rank 3-4 constructed he mainly was playing against mage druid priest and an occasional shaman.
Probably should add he was playing a mid-late priest deck no mind control but rag sylvanas and molten giants
A Mid-game Mage does well against most comers. It aims to disrupt aggro and control alike in order to slow the game down against aggro and speed the game up against control. The weakness of the deck is in fact how the first 5 turns play out. You have to make the right plays because an opponent can force you to drain off your control elements or burn out your aggro elements early. You must even predict how much damage you are willing to take; I routinely finish games at T8 with less than 10 HP because I use myself as part of the trading process.
Its not a deck netdeckers can just copy and win. Explains why I've been steamrolling Frost Giants, Healadins and Suilocks all day.

I ran a couple of those when I was playing my priest deck finished the game at 30. I can see it being usefull with the right draws though.
Should add mid game pally has a good chance to crush the straight aggro decks
