So I made a funny error just now, and hopefully people can learn from this.
The battle is between my Shaman, in command of a host of Murlocs, and a Handmage. The setting Rank 15 and a couple stars.
The murlocs went all aggro, more so than I expected, and the Mage had 12 health or so at the beginning of my 5th turn. She did some damage the turn before, and I didn't count, but I probably had exactly lethal on the board between several murlocs and, most importantly, a Knife Juggler. What she had on the board was a single Explosive Sheep.
My friends, when you have a dominant aggro board, and a Knife Juggler of yours is facing down a 50/50 chance of hitting an Explosive Sheep - do not play another minion. I played Old Murk-Eye and immediately ordered his attack, and he hit the board with 5 attack. As you can probably guess, the next thing I saw was a large explosion animation as I immediately realized the severity of my error. He hit with 2 attack and the next thing I knew he was the only thing I had on the board.
Needless to say, I did not recover. There were giants after that.
We really need to start a "Tragic Outcomes I have Known" thread.
I remember getting so involved in what was happening on the board that I forgot to check what my health was... playing Warlock you know...
Had what I was pretty sure was lethal on my board (barring sudden surprises) & was about to launch D-Day next turn... absent mindedly hit life tap one last time & did myself in! I'm sure my opponent went hysterical at the sight!
There were giants after that. There's a sad, resigned note of finality to that statement. I like explosive sheep. I favor aggro decks and STILL like it. Hilarity like this abounds with those silly bastards.
aggro players tend to overlook details and just mindlessly hit face sometimes.. .. the fact that u play fast and easy deck doesnt mean u shouldnt use your brain or take ur time in the turns for proper play... even funnier is people who have lethal and start trading/messing around and mess up their lethal -> lose the game after .. that kind of BM is even worse

Word for the wise: Don't play Holy Nova when you have Auchenai Soulpriest out.

Also, something similar I learned...
DO NOT lay down Auchenai Soulpriest when you have a Lightwell!!!!!!!

Ooops! the lightwell pretty well seals your fate, huh?
How often I have wished there was a "do-overs" button. Even just once per game!
I guess that time rewinder spare part card, or the brewmasters could work, but usually they are just not at hand when you really need them.

ive had 2 northshire clerics out
the whole board filled up with my troops that were all slightly injured
my opponents board filled up and i thought i would drop a couple of holy novas to try and clear out all their troops
started drawing cards like crazy and ended up dying to fatigue
Also, BEFORE even attempting to play Hellfire always, and I mean ALWAYS, attack with ALL your minions!
Angry Chicken Synergy!
lol. and double-check your health. Make sure its greater than 3.

Time is money, friend.
I, however, have never regretted them overlooking their lethal... when I knew I just needed one more turn to use my own.
