I personally think they are super pretty, and give me something to stare at while waiting for the opponent make their play. I now have several all-gold decks. Obviously I am not a F2P user, but somebody has to give back to the developers.

You and I are of the same mind. Everything you wrote is exactly why I love gold cards. The first I crafted was Gold Tirion because I wanted that Golden Ashbringer!

That would be on my list if I played more Paladin. :-)

I generally want everything gold and will go out of my way to craft gold cards of specific cards but its more than "a few". Just crafted my golden Loatheb a few days ago. :)

When I first started (I'm mostly F2P, I've maybe spend 60$) I dusted most goldens that I already has 2x of. But now my collection is about 85% complete, I try to save them. Mostly just dusting (sadly) the Legendarys, trying to make the last 4 I'm missing.

never crafted a golden card, but never disenchanted one that I didn't have 2 of, either (which means I've dusted very few. I think 2 Twilight Drakes, and maybe 1 or 2 others at most)
I like the animations on gold cards. however i dont like the gold edge.. the class specific artstyle of a cards edge is usually prettier than a golden edge. i find the priest artstyle and the hunter artstyle very nice
I've had the exact same thought before. I wish the class goldens kept a bit of the class character.

I'm the same, I'm f2p but I like golden cards, I tend to disenchant the second regular when I get a golden.

I also don't care for the gold edge. I do enjoy the animations, though. I also put the gold version of spell cards in my deck if I have them because it makes it easy to tell at a glance what is a spell and what is a minion.

I really like the goldens, & the animations really add an extra "zing" to both the collections pages and the playing board.
However, I'm still in the process of acquiring non-golden but needed cards, so I would not craft any at this stage. I am very reluctant to dust them though & only do so when 1) I'm really convinced a need a certain card & haven't ever received it through arena runs or bought card packs. ( I'm pretty frugal & have a budget to consider, so the bought with RM packs are pretty few) & 2) I already have 2 cards of the non-golden variety.
Hate to do it then, but on a cost/benefit basis, the golds due get more dust, usually enough to craft whatever card (other than legendaries) I am currently lusting after.

Love gold cards, but i play on my 42" TV and i wish they would fix the jagged edges on not just gold cards, but all of them. Anyhow i am slowly crafting all the gold demons, of course its a damn slow process but its going to be so hilariously awesome to complete a golden demon deck, even if it is gimmicky (maybe not with GVG who knows). Recently i've crafted:
Ι really like golden cards, I've crafted quite a few naxxramas golden commons. I don't craft any from the expert set because there's the slight chance I might find them someday in packs.
Of course it goes without saying that I never disenchant anything that I don't have more than 2 of, golden or not.
it seems like I'm in the minority, but I don't care for golden cards at all, give me that dust! maybe once I get all the cards my mind will change but I'm still 8 cards short and I'm saving all my gold for the new cards

How do you feel about crafting gold cards?

I particularly like the gold cards that give me other gold things, such as Thoughtsteal, Ysera, Webspinner, Animal Companion, Lord Jaraxxus, Faceless Manipulator, etc. To that end, I will definitely be crafting a gold Sneed's Old Shredder, which will summon me random gold Legendary cards.
Love seeing this in my hand:

I prefer regular cards. Golden ones are distracting and sometimes quite ugly. I've dusted nearly all the gold cards I've gotten from packs.
I tend not to dust anything I don't have 2 of. It's all about your personality.
I would love to have more gold cards, but the cost is just sooo high lol.

Golden Faceless Manipulator is your friend then!
I don't craft them but I generally keep playable goldens.

Right you are! That's worthy of editing the first post.

Spectral Knight
Because it looks so damn badass.
Gimmicky or not, I'd really like to just see it. I have a weakness for those awkward-to-handle demons myself.
