Combine already existing technology to recreate Tower Defense or TFT-like modes in Hearthstone.
The technologies are there. Create a mode where you have to build up a board to destroy all summoned enemy minions each turn. Those minions drop Coins/Mana to spend on getting a better board, Discovering spells or weapons etc. Each enemy minion that survives deals 1 damage to your hero until you're dead. How many turns can you survive? They wouldn't even have to create any new cards since there are over 2000 different ones already in the game.
You could do the same in a PvP setting to recreate Teamfight Tactics in Hearthstone, so instead of fighting against the AI, you have to challenge yourself against other players that can also use spells from their hand in addition to trading.
The rewind feature to reset your board each turn (to call back destroyed minions and fully heal them again) exists in the Witchwood adventure already. The turnbased survival mechanics exists since the League of Explorers adventure where you had to flee the temple. Also, having multiple enemy bosses per match is also already a thing as shown in the Nefarian boss fight back in Blackrock Mountain.
So everything required does exist already! There isn't really any reason to do another Dungeon Run.
i wish that blizzard bring back the old adventure like league of explores, naxxramas and other adventure like this they were the best
I think the same, I prefer Old adventures, first of all because of the value (700g for a good neutral legendary plus useful rares/epics) and the solo content was more fun. Dungeon run in the beginning was fun but very fast frustrating. Imagine being at 6 wins, the boss has a lucky opener and crushes you and you have to start first. Every start, same way too easy bosses, the animations you cant skip. For me totally frustrating. All other solo content after first dungeon run mechanic were the same (except maybe Boomsday), and that is just so boring and annoying. Wow.
EDIT: Hearthstone needs new content, new changes and not new cards. Toast said he would return to HS (or more like, try it out again) if there were significant changes. But I doubt Blizz will do anything. Remember tournament mode? A draft mode like you have in MTGA would be cool, I know you cant copy it 1:1 but something similar (as in Arena, you dont keep the cards). Literally its always the same. Repetitive brawls. Bleh.
dungeon run is clearly the best thing they did and you can sink a lot of time in it, having lots of fun, but i also believe it is too much at some point. Especially in this evolving league of evil an adventure, that actually tells a story would've been much cooler. Defeating arthas with all classes felt amazing, i wish they could do something like this again, instead of repeating dungeon run over and over
It's all a matter of opinion. There are multiple rougelike games which I have 100s of hours in so I love getting more dungeon run style single player content is always good with me.
But I went back and replayed naxxaramus a couple years ago and got bored about 2 wings in but I still go back and play dungeon run,a monster hunt and Dalaran heist sometimes.
That being said some kind of endless mode with a random deck or you get to add modifiers as you play or something would be really cool.
Also, has anyone heard anything at all about the new single player? Like is it gonna have multiple wings again or just one wing or what? It's kind of weird for blizzard to say absolutely nothing about it when it'll probably be released early September and it's already in the adventure mode screen.
For generally speaking about Blizzard I don't have too much good opinion about the company.
When it comes to innovation Blizzard is so lazy their innovations are not bad but C'mon what was the last time they introduce something new to the players?

Maybe they are trying something new.
Maybe they are working on a crap tower defence mode in the background as we speak.
You think they just sit around playing Arena between expansions?
i wish that blizzard bring back the old adventure like league of explores, naxxramas and other adventure like this they were the best
Why would people play tft like garbage on hearthstone rather than playing the actual garbage itself?
"Why aren't they trying something new" *Suggest idea that already exists*

it's mostly content gating, the single experience is prolly done already.

Sure... What about a battle-royale-souls-like-open-world card game while we're at it
Well, guess who's laughing now.
Post is over 2 months old. No use in dredging it back up.
