I really enjoyed this post and I’m beyond the point at having much positive to say about this game.
I do think this game is designed in a way to play off of consumers frustrations and luck in a similar manner to how the news makes money off of BS click baiting, negativity, and drama.
Outplaying opponents and losing to rng is beyond frustrating. I’m even to the point of feeling like I don’t deserve wins when rng memes shine in my favor. Neither is fun.
I cannot believe people still pay for this cash grab designed around gambling addiction and negativity.
Have you tried taking it less seriously? Do you really care if some nerd emotes “Greetings” at you before playing a card that kills your animated avatar? Or if he plays extraneous cards and fireballs his own face before hitting you with lethal?
If you’re truly suffering as much as you say you are, just stop playing. Open a window. Smell the roses. Life is short.
Nah, Hearthstone is not even close to toxic. Looks like you don't know what toxic is, try play some Dota 2, I ensure you'll learn a lot about yourself from your teammates.

Bob Ross up there is right. You don't even communicate with your opponent other than emotes which means nothing. Dota.. league of legends.. heck even WoW is far more toxic than the rainbow and puppies of this game.
There are times when I absolutely hate this game. It infuriates me like no other I’ve ever played. Earlier this week I actually uninstallled the game from my phone in a rage after losing to like five warriors in a row.
At the same time some games I play are truly exciting, different and memorable and filled with so many ups and downs. I’ve won games from positions that seemed impossible and have had several hour long games of super greedy value control vs super greedy value control that have been thrilling regardless of whether I won or lost. This game gives is an emotional rollercoaster unlike any other I’ve ever played.
You cant have one without the other. Accept the fact that sometimes this game will make you want to smash your head against the wall and break you pc, other times it will be an absolute joy and memories of those games will stay with you for a long time.
This fucking game makes me crazy and I love it. Wouldn’t have it any other way.
This exactly. My girlfriend wonders why I still play despite how insanely mad I get at times, and this is exactly why.
Meh. Just stop taking this game so seriously. I decided long ago I wasn't worried about trying to join in on tournament game play of any kind and I barely bother about ranked. It's done wonders. Takes a LOT of the pressure off if you stick to being a casual player.
I just accepted facts that I'm a casual player and hearthstone is just another part of my gaming hobbies, one of the few fyi I play outside of console games.
Does it suck that hearthstone stubbornly bottlenecks itself into a tiny meta of 3-4 of the same decks month after month? Yep. Which is why most of my time is spent on other games and hearthstone doesn't get as much of my time anymore.
“Game is totally based on luck” yeah that’s why the top players tend to stay on top. Right now control warrior is the only deck absolutely reliant on RNG to win games. While other decks have elements of RNG it’s hardly their base game plan.
Don’t get me wrong, losing to obnoxious RNG sucks, but more often than not games are decided by archtype then card draw and that holds true for literally every card game in existence
.... Realize that for 90% of the player base, they don't play or care enough to be salty often. To them, it's a game. If it's an addiction for you that mostly leads to salt and toxicity, that's something you ....
Please give us more Hearthstone 'behind the scene' information, statistics, percentages (%), and anything more you may have. You seem to be privy to such information.

Hearthstone is a fantastic game and gives alot of fun in all the game modes. Sadly, it is the nature of people that are playing this game from ropers (the type of players i hate most), the me go face, the lifeless twitch streamers that play the game 24/7, the gold farmers, and those who abuse broken cards preventing other decks to be played, that completly ruin the gaming experience.
I don't think Hearthstone is designed to frustrate people and make them treat each other disrespectful.
Of course, any game designing company should pay some attention to issues like addiction-potential and the like (Hello, WOW!), but in the end we are all human beings with free choices.
It's a bit like blaming a cutlery-company for producing "murderous" weapons that could potentially kill people.

This. I never understood abusing the same boring tactics. The “I want to win regardless of the means” sadness.

Just because you don't enjoy the game, it doesn't mean other people feel the same way.
I've been playing since December of 2014 and I still enjoy (and support) the game.

I stopped paying 2 expansions ago, and I’m WAY happier. Not wasting money and playing memes is what HS is all about now.

This. Hearthstone is a fun, casual game. If it wasn’t so insanely expensive, people wouldn’t get so worked up.
Ok.... I know that? People are huge fans of the media, which is also driven by negativity. I don’t get that either.
I like hearthpwn, but these posts... Its a f... In card d game. Any other games has such a negative player base like this? Lol
