Wanted to hear other people’s experiences with Chef Nomi Quest Druid. I tried it but what I found was that the game was already decided one way or the other before Nomi was playable or relevant.
My guess is that it is unnecessary in 99 percent of your matches and would be better replaced with something that shores up your weaknesses.
Yeah. In token and quest I've never seen Druid run out of cards. It gets close but by the time they are down to a few cards left in the deck the game is over.. usually losing as both decks aren't very good. I've never seen a druid go into fatigue.
As a person who played over 100 games with the Quest druid I can say this.
If you expect Nomia to save you then you're done. The deck focuses on pressuring the opponent fast by swarming your board while you destroy his.Nowi could be usefull but as you said 99% of the time it's a dead card in your hand which Quest druid doesn't need at all at this point of the meta

Anyone else having a similar experience?
Yup, I tried Nomi and King Phaoris and neither did significant results to warrant their slot (they were there mostly for control matchups).
Quest druid struggles vs aggro and can't outgrind control decks (in my experience only). So why play it? It's fun for sure but...
I don't know why Quest druid doesn't run mechathun as tech against control. Vs aggro it's useless yeah but so is the deck itself. Might as well put a tech in that guarantees you a win. Save floop, play mechathun, play floop, Beeeees on floop, GG control warrior

Yeah, I’ve considered this. Why add Elise and Nomi when Floop and Beeees are already happy in the deck, and it accomplishes the same task.
Im probably days behind the meta, but I’m gonna keep experimenting with different expression of Quest Druid. I’m even messing around with one now that plays Oasis Surger as the only minion to capitalize on the two Crystalsong Portals I added.
Considering how good the choose one cards are after quest completion, cards that discover more copies of them seem good too, such as new Vulpine. I hope :)
Warriors have plagues of wrath now so combo oriented Nomi decks that aim to make Nomi copies and empty the deck as soon as possible are far less competitive than before... and they weren't that competitive to begin with
Nomi Rogue is still pretty amazing. It used to be a guaranteed win against Control Warrior until they got yet ANOTHER full board clear this expansion. Sigh...
I think Nomi was originally included just to deal with Warriors. Your aim is to make the Warrior use his AoE, before you have access to double Nomi. The deck can cycle really, really fast, so including Nomi was a logical pick. Mind you, most of the 'meta' decks are created in high ranks, which is infested with Mages and Warriors.

Quest Druid does fine against aggro tbh. I also play King Phaoris, but not as an extra win con. Only Control Warrior is almost unwinable because all the removal it has...

But FYI few decks beat Warrior anyways. Also Phaoris Druid does pretty well against other decks.
no, i did not play your list, but i played a lot of normal quest druid and highlander quest. to win against a warrior, u have to put constantly pressure on him. With your deck it's nearly impossible to do that. but i believe u do well against other decks
It ransout of cards almost allways or close to it. Usually it's game before Nomi, but couple times i played it and had success.
One deck with A 600 sample size at a 58% wr = top ranks of hsreplay LUL
If you sort all decks by winrate, this puts your deck on page 9 with probably 50 individual control warriors and paladins above it (and with statistically relevant sample sizes)
If you take the aggregate of all the Quest nomi druid decks, it won't even show up on the meta tier list page because it's so bad
You generally play it versus a control warrior. Requires a lot of planning since you have to make sure to get a copy. If you haven't baited out a Brawl by the time they know you have it, it's over unless you got lucky and got 3 copies.
I have been playing Kripparrian’s quest druid deck list but -1 overflow and +1 chef Nomi. It’s been so good. I got an 11 win standard brawlesium and then two 10 win brawls. On ladder it wrecks control warrior and any matchup other than hyper zoo decks. It’s got so much late game value with Elise and Nomi and floop. You can get up to 4 chef nomi’s.

Nomi have only two homes.
Murlock paladin, one time was played vs me with the effect before the game reach 10 manas. \o/
Nomi priest, but I don't see that deck in ages.

Useful comment =/. Did you even play this list?

I tried it and had a laaarge winstreak.

Chef nomi is just another win condition. In the deck maybe
