They didn't nerf Raza for the sake of Wild. They nerfed it to get it out of Standard. It was absurdly OP. People didn't want to wait even one more month to get rid of it.
Raza would have left standard in like two months and a week since they announced the nerf. So no, it wasn't for standard. And I always said that the problem with Razakus was the otk potential with velen and mind blast.
Anyway, even a deck like the good old dragon priest would be nice to have now. I'm sick and tired of the inner fire bullshit. The only priest deck I enjoyed after Razakus nerf was the quest deathrattle priest, even if it wasn't enough supported.
The clone gallery was popular, ok, but I'm not a fan of combo decks. Then Rasthakan brought us the Talanji and Bowmsamdi deck... Huge flop both. RoS the only kind of viable deck that gave us was Nomi Priest. And now this... Ok, guess I'll keep having fun with Tess Rogue
Combo priest got to be the strongest deck in the game atm, so idk what you talking about. Multiple top 5 legends with it already. One of the best winrates according to HSReplay and you need to consider that the deck is very skill intensive, so that automatically lowers the winrate of the deck by people who are bad at playing it.

I don't even know why is it called combo priest in the first place. Combos usually kills you the turn they are performed. And I don't see really anything special with that, I faced two at rank 5 (first and only priests met) and they both conceded due the impossibility of gaining the board back. Happy it's a thing then, easy wins.

IDK about easy wins, i guess it depends on your opponent. This is on rank 1/legend. Deck is definitely a thing.

Yep, exactly that one. Don't know, maybe I got lucky or my opponents played it poorly, but I struggle the first turn (like every deck with a quest vs an aggressive deck) but once I cleared it's board it was downhill (playing Tess quest Rogue btw).
I don't really pay attention anymore to those flashy titles like "rank 1 legend with this", "top 10 legend with that" and so on: most of the time those people play a few matches with a deck and post the list, but is not like they climbed all the way playing JUST that

Assuming you're asking me; we're all talking about hsreplay.net and all the data they accumulate from their deck tracker program and app.
