It really won't. It's the same as it was before. It has counters and not enough are being played. It wasn't nerfed before and it won't be nerfed now. No reason to.
I don't think Boom itself is getting nerfed, but some aspect of the Warrior deck should and almost certainly will be nerfed.
The win rate and play rate of the deck is way too high. It doesn't just beat Aggro. It beats up on Control Shaman, and Control Paladin/Priest are unthinkable with Warrior as it is. Also, none of the Quests which were supposed to allow other classes to compete with the Boom Hero Power do so, with the possible exception of the Shaman Quest.
As far as counters go? Mage, if they play and draw Galaxy will often beat Warrior. Without Galaxy its close, unless the Warrior connects the buff taunt. And Mage is strong enough against other decks to be playable. After that, the only decks that can beat Warrior, lose to everything else.
Speaking of which. Those taunts were supposed to go into a different Warrior archetype, not enhance the one that was already oppressing the Meta.
Nerf's will happen one or two weeks after GMs start up again.

The win rate is below 60% and not in any place that it needs to be nerfed. Loses enough to not be an issue. I know as I've played it for a couple of days.
The real problem here, as stated by others, is that you probably aren’t intuitive enough to swap decks. If you play decks that “always” lose to warrior and face a ton of warriors it’s very easy to see what the fix is. Try a little harder to see it.
Then I started playing Quest Paladin(it has 70%+ win rate against Control Warriors, you basically beg to face them).
And , surprise surprise. Mogu Cultist Rogue( I made a Captain Hooktusk with Lackeys version, so no one even remotely suspects that I keep some bad CULTIST boys in my hand). played against 2, farmed them so hard(I shuffled 4 and 5 Highkeeper Ra In my deck these 2 games).
If they manage to kill the first, you just summon the 2nd(you must have emptied your deck with Myra's). None of the 2 warriors could handle the 2nd. Well if they managed, I had a 3rd(and we are talking about 20 dmg to face, and board clear, no matter what they do, at the end of your turn)
Eh... I agree Warrior can be ridiculous at times. But then you nerf it and you'll just have damn Hunters, Zoolocks and Murlocs running rampant everywhere and it would probably be worse.
The current ecosystem is too fragile. It would be better if other classes had more things so value and control tools wouldn't be so stacked in a single class, or at least some Combo(s) that could reliably beat Warrior. Even Mage needs a little luck, they don't simply faceroll Warrior, unless you are playing some pretty terrible ones.

Any win rate above 55% is oppressive. Team five has rejected the concept of "just let the Meta correct itself". Balance patches, premature HOF rotations, and even buffs have happened frequently this year. There is no way this deck/class can be left in tact.
I agree with warrior being too oppressive, any no brainer nowadays can play a warrior deck.People who don‘t want to see a nerf are fucking out of their minds they just want to save money&dust.Creativity is a foreign word for them so don’t try to argue with them it is pointless.
i dont think warrior is op and need a nerf but hsreplay statistics and data are saying a different truth

Actually now I find it easier. Before as a Rogue I was practically doomed, now with the quest I just try to complete it asap and start smirking their face with the blade. In the long run those extra 2 damage per turn make a lot of difference (also I can clear their threats way more easily without even taking damage)
Control and Bomb Warrior have had by far the best winrates for months now. A deck that forces you to play certain other archetypes to counter it polarizes the meta too much, which is unhealthy for the game. Even if you are a control warrior player, you have to accept the fact that warrior (as proven by statistics) is too powerful at the moment. In order for the meta to be more diversified some of warrior's cards have to be nerfed (probably including, but not limited to Dr. Boom). A card game shouldn't be reduced to a simple rock/paper/scissors. Hearthstone wasn't always like that (older players know this), meaning that it can be healthy again. Blizzard has to stop printing power creep cards, despite that being negative for their short term profit, otherwise the game will soon be completely dead.
An endless value counter? Oh yeah?

''Hey guys im getting sick that the same deck that is very powerful is dominating the ladder even when the new expansion hits''
''Just play another game.''
Lol does this community even care anymore?
