Why do they bend the rules so much. Streamers are just playing meme decks with 3 or 4 duplicates. Why don't they just have the standard ruleset? It's boring as fuck to watch as none of these decks will even be playable when it releases. What was wrong with the old way of previewing expansions?
oyu mean the old way where there was nothing? the reason they let people use any number of copies is so people dont start playing and trying the new meta right noe too much, also you cant craft or buy extra packs so you dont have every card you could have this way you get less sad when you open a duplicate

I might be wrong, but I remember at least 1 or 2 fireside gatherings where the standard ruleset applied. I think it was for the Witchwood or the Boomsday project.
I'll admit it does seem odd that standard deck building rules don't apply in Fireside Gatherings. I've never attended one, so I don't know the setup - perhaps there are settings for them that can be altered?
