"Edgy quote about being too smart and suffering for it" - Literally who - 1890 Yes I am better than you, my signature implies it. Annoying Random colours.
This thread is to make any and all predictions about the upcoming expansion. Use this thread in the future for bragging rights! I'll start so you guys can get an idea of what I'm talking about:
1. Hyena Alpha is going to be the most impactful class card in the set. How could it not? Alongside so many incredible Hunter cards, why wouldn't a 4-manaa 7/7 not see any play? I'm actually scared for this one.
2. Vilefiend will be the winner of the Magma Rager award. I just don't see any use for it, not even in Arena. At least a lot of the bad cards in this set have some meme potential. Similarly, at least cards like Living Monument will still "see play" because of Conjurer's Calling.
3. Corrupt the Waters will be a lot better than people think it will be. Maybe even the best. In fact, I'm willing to bet on it. Combine this with Lackey generation and decent late game effects, and you have a deck that might climb its way to the top.
4. Rogue and Shaman will be the only classes to pull off a Mogu Cultist deck. That being said, they won't be competitive.
6. Siamat will be very similar to Zilliax in terms of being good in just about any deck. In fact, I think he's a solid five star card and will be the most impactful legendary in the set.
7. Octosari will see a surprising amount of play in Wild.
9. Zoo Priest will be a thing, but will most likely be tier-2 at best.
10. Arcane Flakmage and Cloud Prince will be universally hated, due to Mage being top-tier with ANOTHER good deck. If they aren't I know I will still hate them.
wow such a bold predictions man, not like most people talk about 90% of these stuff happening for sure
4. Saviors of Uldum gave Paladin a truly awful set, and I'm making the bold prediction that none of the cards will be used in constructed until December at the earliest. No, not even Subdue.
I will use Subdue 100% and i recon i will have succes with it.
I didn't read anyone else's before posting this because I didn't want to be influenced. If mine is the same as yours, apologies!
In no particular order: - Battlecry Shaman beats out Warrior and Mage for the top spot - The Rogue Quest will be nerfed - One of the highlander decks will be T2 - Mage will fall into T2 - Paladin will be the worst class (It has a notable shaman and priest problem) - The other two "worst classes" will be Warlock and Priest, but both will be legend capable. - Siamat will see less play than Zilliax, but still quite a lot of play - Shaman will have multiple T1 decks - Bazaar Mugger is the best card no one is talking about. - We will see Combo druid return in some form.
I only have one; Control Shaman will wreak havoc in Wild, using that new Murloc transform card to Bully Big Priest and Darkest Hour Lock. Took a LONG time but looks like Shaman finally has critical mass in both AoE and transform effects, making Shudder the ultimate value control deck vs. big decks and aggro decks. Nerubian Unraveler can NOT contain the three mana murloc spell.
Yeah Warrior's quest can be tier 3, maybe I didn't word it correctly : it's not unplayable, but it's so much worse than Dr Boom that I don't see any reason to play that quest until next rotation.
For Paladin though I really don't believe ^^ the reborn minions you have to put in your deck are sooo bad, for a reward that's not game breaking at all.
Day one of the expansion will feature many matches between the unchanged RoS meta decks and unrefined/unrealistic/unsynergetic decks featuring many of the SoU cards that are ultimately going to be worthless than the digital paper they are printed on
Mogu cultist is better in priest than in rogue and shaman combined. So your’e wrong about that. Actually I made an OTK priest with it Because you can vivid nightmare the RA, that’s Why it’s the best class for mogu cultist
1) Warlock quest will be played in wild... probably tier 2 deck, but it will be played (with plot twist)
2) Saviours of Uldum will have minor impact to wild in the ranks 5 to 1... We will continue to see the top tier decks as they are now... maybe with 1 or 2 different cards in each deck.
3) Arena is going to be awesome :D

To live is to suffer, to survive is to find meaning in the suffer!
I will make just one. Shaman quest will be nerfed, period.

BLOODSWORN MERCENARY WILL BREAK THE META
Love is pain but I'll endure that pain if that's what it takes. 🖤
Highlander Wild just got stronger and will be seen a lot more. Highlander Standard not as much as the pool and variety of cards just isn't enough.

Quest shaman will be overplayed in the first week.
After 2 weeks there will be virtually no experimenting left.
90% of the decks youll see day 1 are from streamers
Why u hav to be mad? is only card gaem.

Tier 1 deck right here
You don't really get bragging rights for parroting the predictions of popular streamers and claiming them as your own.
You know who you are.

I only have two:
1. SoU will be very impactfull like Kobolds or Naxxramas.
2. Zephrys is gonna get nerfed.
Mogu cultist is better in priest than in rogue and shaman combined. So your’e wrong about that. Actually I made an OTK priest with it Because you can vivid nightmare the RA, that’s Why it’s the best class for mogu cultist
1. People will cry nerf.
2. Blizzard will HOF.
3. Blizzard will Nerf after Tournament.
4. 1 Deck will prevail out of new cards. The others will come in time.
5. Mech Hunter will still be tier 1.
6. Taunt Warrior will see play.
7. I will think about Legend, but settle for Rank 5 for 3 months.
8. I will hate 1 card. And 1 deck.
9. I will craft useless Legendary cards just for fun. And Epics.
10. I will make a ton of misplays for at least 2 months.
We're gonna Win! I will be playing a lot of Sir Finley of the Sands

I think that Shaman’s quest can actually compete with dr. Boom in terms of late game value.
Paladin’s quest will be scary when optimized.
Mana Cyclone Mage will continue to dominate with 0 new cards.
Octosari will turn out to be the bait legendary for this expansion.
People will experiment with singleton decks, eventually coming to terms that they are a T3-4 decks at best.
Druid is going to switch exclusively to token yet again.
Siamat is no Zilliax
Priest relegated to meme tier
Rogue is not going to reach its pre nerf fame, regardless of the good quest.
The first 2-3 days is going to be a blast to play on ladder.
Release the Kraken!
