Hs falls in popularity so much last time. Look twitch 6k Viewers atm, it is so low - approx 40th place, in pasttime HS was often in top 3. Many streamers quit game.
It seems TFT took lot of HS audience and players.
I dont want to say HS is dead game but it seems in 1-2 years in can really be.
Do you think Blizzard stop support HS in 1-2 years? Card games seems to be out - of date form of gaming..
hope new expansion will return everyone back .... but of course now popularity is low because meta is facking annoying, nothing new and everyone waiting for expansion ... and we cant do anything in HS ... (3win=10 gold is joke to do)
if people still pay big bucks for the pre-orders of upcoming expansions, blizzard will still be making new stuff on hearthstone. It doesn't really matter how much players your game has, if there are people putting money in it, it will always remain 'alive'. Blizzard seems to be doing well, worse then the last few years, but there's still profit to be made. To cut off a game like hearthstone, they'll f*ck up everyone who still plays this game and they won't do that. At least i believe so

Seriusly talking the game it s too simple and very expensive. The devs need to think about something more appealing , i am talking about making some graphic changes and gameplay as well . For example creating cards that change the look of the board .. or adding new modes such as tournament.. and simply this new expansion seem really not appealing to me. Idk we ll see where this go :)
Watching other people play cards is losing popularity, but it tells nothing about the people who actually play this game.
Blizzard won't stop supporting this gold river anytime soon. New games come out and some get popular on twitch, what's the big deal.
TFT took HS audience because they payed all the most popular HS streamers to overhype the game. It was so obvious all the big HS streamers making TFT content at the same time lol
Oh no people went to play auto chess this must mean the game is dead. All the auto chess games will die of soon you can only do so much with those games. Yes we lost amaz dog Hafu and I really don’t care who else left. But that means some small hs streamers will move up and take their place.
We have one of these posts every month. The game will continue as long as people play it. 25 million bosses were defeated in the fire festival event, so I assume a lot of people still play.
Yes. It is dying as it has died a million times before. These posts are getting awfully tiring. Every expansion it's a new one about the same thing.
Truth is that; No. It isn't dying. It makes millions for Blizzard and will continue to do so. It may not have the same amount of active players it once did but still in a healthy place and providing great revenue for Blizzard.
Xanzan made a great point above me. Within 2 days 25 million boss kills. That's a healthy amount of people playing.
As for twitch and how many people are on; IT'S MIDDLE OF THE DAY ON A SATURDAY IN THE MIDDLE OF SUMMER.
I'm not sure, for once the autochess genre, it is new and shiny so there are people experimenting and playig with the new toys (them being f2p and needing minimum money investment also helps), but what i can tell you is that people that dont know how to transition, balance economy, counterpick and assemble a solid gameplan properly in those games will quickly blame rng for their own flaws and drop those games, maybe they'll come back to hearthstone, maybe they'll stop playing, maybe they'll finally get a girlfriend who keeps them busy enough to stop complaining about rng in game forums, the thing is nothing is set in stone.

News flash. People can play more than one game. I play many. Even 2 or 3 in a day when I have a day off. Playing just one game is an addiction and bad for you and time to stop playing that game.

no wonder such a ugly game design and not listening to the players

People have being saying this for almost 4 years
New game just gets streamers to try them out. For no, at least, they've always come back HS after a while, so No reason to be worried.
