The vast majority of HS players don't care about streamers or what they do. I personally play Hearthstone daily and buy every expansion but don't watch streamers (never got the attraction of watching other people play a game instead of playing it personally). So I doubt HS will die just because of what streamers do.
There are streamers to replace other streamers you know, I might subscribe to a few but they need to play what I am playing, otherwise I don't subscribe to them.
One of the benefits of watching others play a game like Hearthstone is it gives you ideas on deck strategies and ways to play you might not have considered, as well as ideas for decks that you might not realise were available, etc.
It is sad to witness to see my favourite streamers jump off to play other games. The streamers kinda have been my main motivation to play HS when I have seen a fun deck on stream and wanted to play again. Even if the meta was annoying I still had fun watching streams.
If your old favorites are no longer playing HS, I recommend Dekkster. He's a lot of fun to watch, he always talks through his turns, and he plays tons of fun off-meta decks. (He also warns you not to craft the deck he's using if its more for fun than for wins.) His Twitch schedule is extremely regular, and he always uploads highlights to YouTube for those who can't join him on Twitch.

I think a lot of the streamers play the new teamfight from Riot because they got paid by Riot to do so. Before the game was available to the public, riot invited several HS streamers to playtest it. I do watch a lot of HS streamers, but due to time diff I watch their YT content more than their live streams and seeing all those teamfight videos really annoyed me. Didnt watch any of em.
Most of the current people streaming are boring as all hell, I hope they leave and we get fresh blood in here.
