Wish when they release something on a date they done it at midnight pretty much the whole day has gone before it’s released. Still it’s the first time in a while I’m looking forward to hearths single player it looks good

Completely agree with this - Ill have to wait for tomorrow to try it out - could have been playing it when I woke up untill now.

Easier said than done. If they released it at midnight the team(s) would have to be putting things in place around 10-11 pm and then monitor for the next few hours after midnight to make sure there were no issues that would require a hotfix/rollback. Makes much more sense for them to come into work, push the release, and monitor throughout the day.
Well because the main HQ are in America, so they release expansions and other content usually at midday in America. It just happens that it translates to evening time for Europe.

You sound like someone familiar with having to perform system changes. I know because I was a sysadmin for 20 years :)

They release most things at 9-10 AM for them, so it makes sense.
I'm looking forward to it. Kinda bummed that it's not all released at once though. We've already waited over a month so do we need even more timegating?

Yeah and i think it would be a smarter way for money purchases aswell. I dont have 2800 gold so i would purchase it with real money if i would be able to play all but now i can just farm the 700 gold every week.
If they announced it early enough for F2P players to save up the gold there wouldnt be a reason to timegate it. Other then keeping the game intresting but meh.
As topic name says, do we know when exactly single player content will be released?
Probably 2pm central time, that's the usual time for releases
Probably around 5pm GMT time
How much hours left then?
2,5 hour ?
The Dalaran Heist will launch on May 16 between 1 and 2 p.m. EST.

Release time is quite perfect for Europeans with a dayjob. Americans can play during the day.
This is way better than the non-global scheduled releases from years back. Back then these things were released with a delay after midnight in EU.
