I know there already is a pack opening thread but no statistical approach. I've kept the results for 5 expansions now and it seems to show a clear trend:

Rare/Epic/Legendary opening rates seem to stay very close from one expansion to the other ( Nothing like the (un)lucky openings I read on other threads )
Golden rates vary a lot more
There seems to be an increase in the number of Legendaries opened for the last 2 expansions
Am I the only one to keep these figures? I would very much like to see how other players figures compare with mines
Some basic statistics knowledge: Golden and legendary cards are wayyyyy to small sample sizes to conclude anything.
I doubt that blizzard is messing with the percentage of card occurence.
I have to agree with you on the statistical sample size. I still couldn't help but be surprised by the figures when completing my Excel sheet this morning so I wanted to share that and compare with others. Maybe if enough players share their figures, we would be able to reach an acceptable statistical sample.
I've never intended the figures I shared to lead to the idea of conspiracy theory
Pardon my wall of text. Obviously this is a very small sample size, but I got pretty lucky on ROS! Landed a legendary on my very first pack, then hit a double legendary pack later.

Opened 50 got 2 legendaries. My buddy opened 17 packs and got 4 legendaries, with 1 pack holding 2 legendaries in it!

I always thought I was unlucky, but seeing the stats I guess I pretty lucky lol
Opened 47 packs
Got Rafaam, madame lazul, hagatha and barista. 3/5 of the EVIL team lol
