Enjoying Americans winning in the Olympics is forbidden because it is political. A 14 plus page discussion of state-sponsored lawsuits against a multi-national corporation based on harassment, discrimination, and wrongful death allegations is apparently not political enough to raise an issue.
Perhaps it's worth observing that the OP is one of the biggest trolls on the site - while I'm reticent to contribute to his behaviour, folks like him constantly shit-post because they value the attention they garner from posting stupid shit. He's received enough attention over the years that he's shit-posted nearly three thousand times. When trolls aren't fed, they tend not to post . . .

I'm inclined to agree when it comes to most subjects, but this one hits too close to home to leave alone.
I can't touch the politics because I like not being banned, but suffice it to say that in the USA, I spend more and more of the time hearing how horrible I am for thinking that spending money should get you something that not spending money doesn't.
If you read this guy's original post, you'll see that while he may just be trolling, there are lots of folks around here who share similar beliefs. I posted something like, "If $80 represents a large expense to you, you might have bigger things to worry about than the price of digital card bundles" and the next thing you know, I'm getting lectured on how horrible I am for not thinking everything should be free.
No, none of this matters and we should all have better things to do. But the philosophy behind posts like this, or the non-trolling repliers, absolutely does matter and has real consequences in the real world.
By the way, I'm going through a rough patch and I have a bunch of gold, so it's probably better for me not to buy this bundle. I was in the same position when Sir Annoy-O came out. But I am an adult with agency, and I made the best choice for myself (just as I did when I decided to buy the Boomsday bundle). You are not owed anything.

Im not sure i understand what the argument is supposed to be here...
I don't really care about cosmetic stuff and don't really value the game enough to spend that amount of money on it. I can easily afford it, but I choose not to buy because of my own preferences.
$80 (£60ish I guess) is quite a lot of money for a few months of current content and some cosmetic stuff. You can buy a AAA and then some for that! I guess im just a bit baffled that the argument seems to be "this trivial content is behind a paywall and the company is bad for wanting to make money".
I am not spending any money since they announced the rotation system, I still enjoy the game playing it for free, if some people willing to pay $100 for a cosmetic skin, let them do it. It is good for Blizz and good for us.
And i'm still happy with this, it's not like: "pay 80$ for this EXCLUSIVE CARDS!", It's Just a skin.
Totally agreed. I would shitstorm, when Blizzard pay-walled exclusive cards, others don't get, because its unfair, doesn't matter if this content is OP or UP. But it's just cosmetics, so for me its fine, if they are exclusive behind a pay-wall.
Another example is Heroes of the Storm or other moba games, where they earn money with skins. I am totally fine with it, because i don't have a disadvantage, if i don't own a skin others guys do. :D
I don't think you guys realize that the playerbase isn't strictly devided between F2P players and whales, AKA "those that don't support the game" VS "those that keep it alive". Many, many players have spent good money on this game but just can't afford spending $80 this often. I think Blizzard should propose more diverse hero skin deals at once to reward the fidelity of those players more easily.
Free to play players are usually playing casually and don't really need cosmetic skins or golden cards. Hard core players who expect this kind of bonus would buy the mega bundle anyway. I'm a f2p and I couldn't care less about which hero I play as, it doesn't impact gameplay or my game experience at all.
Dude, I just have to upvote you and give you props for correctly using "couldn't care less." SOOOO many people mess up that phrase these days. Well done!
The Hero Skin - 10$ in shop for Hunter/Mage/Warrior
Golden Legendary - could cost you Hundreds of gold to crack one so let’s say 1000 gold
Card Back - typically free or achievement based
so in theory you’re getting around 100$ value for 80$
Maiev, Lunara, Morgl, Arthas, and Liadrin are all Free - So not all hero’s are trapped behind a pay wall
Tyrande - Prime Loot but you could get a free trial which is what I did
Mech Jaraxxus is lame and Sir Annoy is Just bad ..
All of this of course is subject to opinion
My only problem is I don't want to spend a boat load on packs. I know it's to sweeten the deal but if they had offered the hero by herself for 15-20 bucks I would have bought that.
I have no problem with the heroes being payed cosmetic upgrades, just don't like when the only way to get them is attached exclusively to an expensive bundle.
A little more on topic to the OP they never said there would never be free heroes again, just not at launch like the last 2 years.
No problem. Thank you for being thankful.
Glad you're here to play against.

I said I won't buy anything unless it has the priest skin in it. :-/ goodbye $80
You don't need a new skin for your hero....
And i'm still happy with this, it's not like: "pay 80$ for this EXCLUSIVE CARDS!", It's Just a skin.
God I can't believe you're still going at it.
Its all ugly cosmetic. Lunara, Mecha Jaraxxus, Sir Annoythefuck, nimsey.... Boring as fuck, would never play them, so why discuss?
She does look good in my collection, wouldn't you agree OP ?
Same and the 80 packs for £69.99 + a golden legendary is pretty good side content too XD

I don't even buy packs anymore and still can play competitively every std rotation with dust

The moment I saw the expansion reveal, I knew this exact thread would be started by this exact person.
This topic has been beaten like a dead horse, what's the point of restating all the points that have undoubtably already been made?
