We are so close to the reveal of the newest Hearthstone expansion here in 2019, but let's look back on the past expansions while we await it with all the hype of a thousand pre-schoolers! Which full expansion was the best? Which added the most to the game? Which had the most fun meta, and the most exciting decks? Damn, Frozen Throne by a mile! I bet it's because of Deathknight class cards, The Lich King adventure mode being epic, and new hero cards. I love hero cards and find them super exciting!
I agree man! The morning of release I woke up at 4am to open my packs. Best expansion so far
Frozen Throne was the flavor, but I gave it to Old Gods since it was a reallllllllly good expansion gameplay wise. Un'Goro should be up there as well.
Unfortunately for Boomsday, Witchwood, and Rastakhan I think they could've been very good but were overshadowed by the previous year sets power wise.
I voted for K&C and I'm really surprised it's not higher percentage wise. Maybe not as good as Frozen Throne but definitely up there.
Definitely Whispers for me. The idea to give everyone C'Thun was brilliant since it was used in many classes, also N'Zoth was a perfect neutral control card. Fun meta, aside from Shaman being so good, perfect expansion.
I actually think I did too lol, I may have pulled an all nighter! My second place is Whispers of the Old Gods, all the old gods cards were so epic and awesome! You built whole decks around cards like that! Imagine if they cared about Legendaries that much now!
Close between GvG and WSoG for me. Went with WSoG tho.
