I'd go for one of the weaker Deathknights. Since Shaman and Warrior already have a new one, my bet is on Paladin or Priest (was only really strong with unnerfed Raza).
"The first Solo Adventure in the Year of the Dragon launches about a month after the first expansion of the year, kicking off with a free chapter. You’ll get to master the new systems and mechanics from the perspective of a mysterious (yet familiar) new Mage character." - They said this in the Year of the Dragon announcement, isnt this basically a confirmation that the new Hero card will be for mage? Like, 80% ?
Or is this "Mage character" something like Rikkar, the rumble run hero? I guess its possible, but since its a "familiar" figure, unlike Rikkar who was created for the run, Im not so sure.
I hope they don't release a Warlock hero card. I want to play with my Jaraxxus dammit.
Oh, youre right, I forgot about that, I hope it wont be the case. But, maybe, if the next hero card indeed is for warlock, Jaraxxus will be playable with it in the same deck, unlike with Gul'Dan. Either way, I really want Jaraxxus to be playable this year.

Anyhow, my money s on mage.
Medivh or Rhonin
Medivh is already both a minion and a mage hero, so Id say its quite unlikely.
I was actually thinking of Kalecgos, because its the Year of the Dragon after all :) But Rhonin is also possible, despite the fact that he is already a legendary Mage. In fact, you could say hes a "familiar mage character".
You might be right, but they also keep doing what they do and release a new hero with the expansion itself, and a different hero card in it (ie: last time with Rastakhan skin and ZulJin HC).
I think in this case the "new mage character" might just be a playable main hero for the adventure, and wont have be obtainable in the form of new skin or card though, at least by how they phrased it in that quote it doesnt seem likely?
Mage for sure. And hopefully Shaman gets some playable cards because it already had a very strong hero card in Hagatha. It just needs some solid common / rare / epic cards in the new set and it might be playable.
I hope for no playable hero.. I don't like those infinite value cards much... if anything something like zuljin or scorgelord garrosh, not something that keeps generating value but something of a small upgrade/ or different hero power that isn't an upgrade.
I really hope for less infinite value stuff that pay little to no price, so actual deck value matters..
Considering Shaman, Warrior and Hunter already have standard Hero/non-DK cards, they are not in the poll options.
My money's on Mage cause the first expansion looks very "Arcane magic" looking, but I'd love to see Rogue get some love.
They usually give hero cards to classes that were pretty weak for the year preceding the card's release, so I'd bet on Mage, but that's just me.

Probably Druid or Warlock. this classes will be shit after the rotation and Druid already got nerfed to the ground.
btw ppl keep saying the new exp looks Mage like but they said the SAME THING for Boomsday Project and that didnt turn up very Magey now did it??

Hoping for Druid tbh. Now that they have been nerfed to the ground it'S time to give them something new and powerful
I tried having fun once. It was awful.
Yeah I'd be really, really happy with a new Priest hero card or skin, since I joined late and dont have Tyrande c:
seems Mage is favorite with the theme, but we never know?
For those saying Druid, I just want to see a hero that makes the whole Treeant theme work, they tried so hard to push it but it ultimately failed.
Mage.
That first expansion of 2019 has Dalaran written all over it.

They killed druid so Im thinking him
I think it is either Mage, Druid, or Priest.
Priest loses almost everything with every rotation.
Druid becomes handicapped after the nerf.
Mage has been mediocre and always Blizzard's favorite class.
