I think his point might be A why do they make stupid broken cards in the first place and B why don't blizz just directly nerf said cards instead of classics and anything else that makes the broken cards good.
The answer to A is, they don't think hard enough about the niche interactions with certain cards and they underestimate how much people will find a way to abuse things in a way they didn't expect
The answer to B is, they are always legendaries and they never want to give us dust back for anything more than a rare.
Breaking a deck using the "cheap" cards is their thing and it is a horrible business practice rather than nerfing the problem card directly
All you people with sarccy comments are obviously cool with having half your money wasted every expansion on cards that aren't what you paid for anymore. God knows why.
All they need to do is just design better cards in the first place or do far more testing with them before they are released, we all remember the Shudderwock debacle.
Stop lynching the guy because he disagrees with corporate/capitalist greed, we all should.

Because people don't spend money on "cards", they spend it on "packs" which expand their collection. You pay for the right to play the game, not to guarantee that nothing in the game changes. It's all written in the game contractual clauses that you accepted when you created an account. Which obviously you must have read before doing so, right? I'm frankly more surprised you would pay money for anything without checking and accepting the fine print. God knows why...
You know the despite recent events Blizzard employs People Who are trying to support their families. They are not a charity and has to win money. So yes they are trying to earn more. But they still make game accesible to f2p. I havent bought anything since kft. And I can build the decks I want Even thought Im not that Hard core winning 100 gold everyday

Ah right, thanks for the reminder, it's been over 4 years since I saw that screen so long since forgotten that man.
Ok that does actually change matters then because they have no obligation to keep cards even classic ones in their current state meaning they can do what the fuck they like with the cards as long as packs don't change.
The fact that they covered themselves this way was really fucking smart actually
I mean I still don't like capitalism and the rest of my statement is still true but am glad I have been corrected where necessary so ta.
Here I thought they earned the money by making a game people would want to play, nurturing a community by make it possible to play for free, play for a bit of money or, for those that want, a lot of money. Development requires creation, implementation, observation, adjustment and continued varying cycles of such.
I find it interesting that people will complain so much about a game that they play by choice that would only exist because people spend money on it so developers/support staff can make a living continuing the game.
People should never spend more money or time or any resource on a GAME that they can not afford to. They should support and be thankful to those that can and do so that the game they enjoy can continue.
Please stop belittling and begrudging people who wish to make a living creating games and the people who are willing to support and enjoy that game.
If the game and/or the developers bother your or offend you in some manor, simply stop supporting it (playing it). If enough people feel your way then the game and company will go away. Even if the game continues you will spending your resources (time and money) on something positive for you.
Create some insane cards everyone will craft Don't do anything, let the meta be 90% Hunters Don't care for the massive amount of players that left Lose money and get fired.
Poor greedy players that hate when companies have to make money while they want everything free :(

Blizzard: Design some insane cards in a new expansion
People: Buy packs and craft the insane cards to build some insane decks
Blizzard: Nerf some cards (even the classic cards) to detroy the most popular decks
People: Buy packs and craft the second tier cards to build the second tier decks
Blizzard: Nerf some cards (even the classic cards) to detroy the most popular decks
People: Buy packs and craft the third tier cards to build the third tier decks

Amazing didn't think about it we were fooled all along

Completely ignores that you don't need to buy packs with money. Just don't be a moron when it comes to using/saving your dust

I hope Blizzard will make decks more expensive and will nerf them to the ground oftentimes.

they're making money with people who buy packs with cards in it that have zero value & you can't trade them for jack shit
so that you have a potentially higher chance of winning games to earn more packs with cards in them that have zero value
what a genius approach
Sounds better than:
Create some insane cards everyone will craft
Don't do anything, let the meta be 90% Hunters
Don't care for the massive amount of players that left
Lose money and get fired.
