After op expansions rotate out, what legendaries do you think will see alot more play??. Some legendaries are cool but are not seeing play.
My predictions: Zilliax will go way up in popularity even more, Lady in white for priest, Tess for rogue, luna’s pocket for mage, kangors army for paladin, captain hooktusk for rogue, zentimo for shaman and warmaster voone for warrior
This is actually a really difficult question. Some assumptions about the rotation need to be made, and the nature of the next expansion.
Main thing to note that is rotating out are the death knight cards (and cube to a lesser extent). They, in general, provide huge amounts of long term value that has overshadowed everything that has been released since then, leading to almost zero playability for those flashy endgame cards, unless they include countermeasures to huge value and healing, like killing your opponent in an OTK. For this reason I think flashy endgame legendary cards from the previous sets are going to become more playable.
Heroes with new value bomb hero cards are going to become among the new big control archetypes. I think control shaman, warrior and paladin are all going to become strong contenders for top of the meta control decks. (warrior and shaman have value orientated hero cards available and paladin has kangors endless army and immortal prelate, which I think can be viable in the right circumstances).
One assumption I think can be made is the inclusion of a new disruption card, and a new weapon removal card. Blizzard seems to release at least one form of deck/hand disruption per expansion and most of them have been fairly unplayable. I think a card that helps counteract mechathun decks is likely as they have had a couple of expansions to think about that. If this card is good, there is a good chance that mechathun is not a controlling force in the meta. If it is bad I think mechathun warlock will be a top deck to beat and may lead to nerfs.
The OTK decks that are likely to stick around in some form are mechathun based, with malygos rogue potentially viable. I am not sure if holy wrath paladin will be t1, but it certainly has the potential to be a meta warping deck.
I expect/hope that a lot of the powerhouse odd/even cards are going to be conveniently printed to the opposite of what are currently the meta odd/even decks. Unfortunately this probably means that either odd paladin or even paladin are still going to be strong in the next expansion. I think Odd rogue will suffer significantly from losing cold blood and even shaman will exist in some form, depending on what they gain in the next expansion it could even become t1.
Overall I think lots of the value bomb cards which have been overlooked due to them being too slow are going to be way more playable in the future.
Baku and Genn will probably lose momentum at the beginning of the season due to reduced pool of cards, but will probably pick it up again later in the year, assuming they will print cards fitting Odd/Even archetypes (not specifically Odd/Even-based, just of odd and even costs, fitting certain deck types) in the next expansions.
I wish seeing even more Boomsday legendaries in play.

Well depends on what's getting released, so no way to know yet ..
https://outof.cards
Ragnaros mage.
Without the insane broken hunter cards that card will shine a lot.
Hello, im from the future. Craft Aviana for druid, tier 1 deck.
Baku the Mooneater, Genn Greymane
none, cards dont rotate in wild lul
That would be funny if the OP didn't have the Standard Flair on.
Unpopular opinion: Rogue is OP
This is the only save bet.
You can add in Mecha'thun as well. Those Odd Warriors ain't gonna counter themselves.
Custom cards :
CLASSES : Alchemist (CCC#5 | Phase V) | Chef (CCC#4)
EXPANSIONS : Year of the Scorpion (Year Comp)

I'm pretty sure golden legendaries will still shine after rotation. :P
Leeroy Jenkins
Hooktusk
Dr. Boom, Mad Genius
Genn and Baku decks will run rampant, you can book it. And we might encounter Lord Jaraxxus, EREDAR LORD OF THE BURNING LEGION once again.
No they will spend an hour pressing the tank up button before one of them loses.
Anyway:
Genn and Baku ofcourse.
I agree with Mechathun aswell, it will probably still work in Druid.
-the mage rag
-Captain Hooktusk
-Zilliax
-Lady in White maybe?
Unity.
Precision.
Perfection.
EU 11/2015+ , f2p 03/2021+: DK 63 / DH 205 /Dr 277 / Hu 733 / Ma 6666 / Pa 1072 / Pr 1165 / Ro 1791 / Sh 1303 / Wl 707 / Wr 664
I think clasic legendaries will be on the top.
Mirci#21636
Not Duskfallen Aviana or Harbinger Celestia, that's for sure.
Mostly Hero Legendaries now that DKs get rotated - so Zul'jin, Hagatha the Witch and Dr. Boom, Mad Genius.
