The title literally says "When you don't want to play HS but want to play HS". I mean, you're human, do human stuff. Take a walk, exercise, play another game, etc. Hearthstone is a game, not a lifestyle.
as above....I complete quests, play some arena, complete the brawl for a free deck, and just use HS when I want to play it. Look to accrue gold for new expansion packs without the need to spend cash.....win, lose....its a game. Much the same as when I play any game. Much rather spend time with my kids, or play sports.
Ya. Loads of people take this game waaaay too seriously. It's just a video game. A way to pass your time. If you let it get to you that much you really need a break.
Simple solution: Stop for a moment and think carefully. Which do you want more? To play or not to play? Go with whichever one is the greater urge. Don't worry about it :-)
I dont exactly get the most time in the world to play HS but usually before I sit down to some hearthstone Ill either have a workout finished, chill with the kids or gf for an hour, cook up some meals for tomorrow and then get maybe an 30 to 90 minutes to play if Im feeling like playing after the kids go to bed. Having a well rounded life usually means its hard to get bored of hearthstone because you kinda have to slot it in at the end of the day if youre not too tired XD
Sounds like you like HS in general but dislike what you are currently doing in it.
If you are playing Standard, play Wild. Reverse if you normally play Wild.
If you normally play with one archetype (i.e. a control player, or a priest player) go play something else.
Do a '50% challenge'. Find a card that currently isn't being used by a high tier deck, design a deck around the concept of it, then tweak it to get a 50% win rate against the opponents you are facing.
Play arena if you haven't in a while.
That sort of thing. If none of those interest you then it just might be the meta you don't care for. Go minimum: dailies then log out. I know I always keep 2-3 games that I regularly play, at least at the minimum. Right now it's Epic Seven (because hearthstone has too low of a Waifu count and I have a thing for progression systems), Hearthstone, and emulated Fire Emblem 7 when I don't have an internet connection. Thus when I have that "I want to be 'in' this game but not interested in it now" I just jam the minimums.
It also helps to show your real interest in the game. If doing the minimum is easy but you don't want to do more then it probably means you're "interested in general, but not now" and can just keep that until something new shows up (rotation, or just a new deck that's interesting). If the minimums start to feel like chores then it might be time to consider taking a break or moving on. It's why I'm no longer playing Fire Emblem Heroes: I like the game but even the minimums feel like chores now.
Half of you guys got it wrong, I am not a lazy ass who plays HS all day long, I go for a walk, meet my friend, talk with family, workout and so on, but when I sit down to play I want to play HS, but I am bored of current meta and I don't have any cards for the wild, I make meme decks and play them, I even participate is hearthpwn's class creation contest.

If you haven't tried already, get into deckbuilding: create your own decks and test them out. The more you do it, the better deckbuilder you'll become. Once you are at a certain level, the decks you build will not only will be entertaining but also viable. You'll probably feel better about playing because you'll be achieving things with something you made yourself.
If you're passionate about it, you may also find yourself building decks you don't have the cards for or decks for classes you don't even like playing, but you'll enjoy doing it nonetheless. Or even spending your "gaming time" creating decks instead, and feeling good about it.
Based on my own experience, this is the best advice I can give you. It's the thing that keeps my interest on the game going.
In fact, it's been a while since I devoted a season to real deck building and experimentation. I may do that next season. I'm 2 stars away from rank 1 just now, so if I can secure rank 1 quickly tonight I can relax and forget about the season drop for another month. Woot!
Try to meme it up in the solo adventures, whenever I am fed up with facing the same decks on ladder over and over again, a couple hours goofing around in dungeon runs trying to build hilarious decks helps me.

Title says it all.
I have a life. The game is not my life, when I'm tired of it I do other things, so simple.
The title literally says "When you don't want to play HS but want to play HS". I mean, you're human, do human stuff. Take a walk, exercise, play another game, etc. Hearthstone is a game, not a lifestyle.
play meme decks
I just complete daily quests. And then when i want to come back play more.
Or maybe go to wild. Craft some Tier 1-2 decks and play. Wild is more chilling than standard.

Basically....its a game! Nothing else!
My magic will tear you......oh.
That's the only thing I do XD

4/3/19 RIP Keith Flint. 😔

One does not simply walk into Mordor,
unless they want to be the best they can be.
