I was wondering the other day, what is the busiest time of the day for Hearthpwn? Does it vary much from day to day?
The context of this question is that sometimes you post something and gets no traction whatsoever and it kinda sucks. So similar to how "influencers" upload stuff to social media at specific times of the day to get more views, would you say there is an optimal time to do this in Hearthpwn?
I know that as opposed to social media, you can't make a living out of Hearthpwn likes and views, but hey, I'm still curious.
(I'm not sure if this should be here or in off-topic tbh)
I dont think there is an easy answer to that question. First you have to realize that we have users from all over the world, meaning time zones are a thing. Then it depends on the kind of topic/information ur posting and where and how you phrase your post etc. One might very well be relaying an interesting information, but might be doing a shitty job at that and ppl will just scoff it off. And so on.
I think post content is more important than post time in my experience. Sometimes people post things that are interesting to them, but there's not a lot of room for additional discussion. If you're only talking about posting decks, then again I think content is important - I will very rarely comment/vote on a list that is just a list with no explanation of your ideas behind it, its performance, etc. The more effort you put in, generally (but not always - I could write a tome on my odd totem shaman deck and nobody would read it, because the deck is awful) the more attention your post will get.
Yeah, I always try to make my posts "good" so to speak. You're probably right Sinti, timezones would make it kinda difficult to guess unless a major part of the users were from the same place. I was just curious about posting time being relevant or not, now I guess it barely matters.
