Am i the only one getting a bit tired of playing against hunter 9 / 10 matches?
It is REALLY insane, my stat records for last 33 matches is 27 hunters, 5 paladins and 1 rogue...
EDIT: I've played for 1 hour and 20 mins after this post, 12 matches, 11 of them hunters and 1 mage. so stats now are 45 matches, 38 hunters, 1 mage, 5 paladins 1 rogue..... What the fuck??!?!?
What Rank are you? Stats with bigger sample size show that the playrate of hunter is abou 30-40 percent
Just do like everyone else. Play hunter or play counters to it. I do it but its still a boring experience after a while cause the matches are basically the same everytime. I mean a free win is a free win but i do reckon since the nerfs came and 70% of my opponents have been hunters my play time in HS has declined. I still do the obligatory reach rank 5 and chill but thats it.

play wild.. not faced 1 single hunter in 3 days.
most people playing hunter on ladder are the type of people who change deck and class based on a winrates. (they were all playing druid pre nerf most likely)
they simply don't exist in wild as these players in wild play big priest.
I find it really annoying too. And playing a deck that counters hunter doesn't make the game more enjoyable.. It's just plain boring almost only facing one class :(
Same...i played Dragon Warrior and i had like 75% winrate against Spell Hunters. The problem was, every game was decided in fatigue...
So i went back to play other decks and losing to hunters
I crafted rexxar before it was good and also crafted zuljin day 1 because it is the only playable hero of the expansion. Once you have those two legendaries, you might swell craft the rest of one of the four tier 1 hunter decks. Kathrena and Halazzi are also pretty fun cards that are interesting to play around with.
People on hearthpwn keep assuming that hunters are played so much because they are broken, but I really think hunter decks are so prevalent because they are relatively cheap and a lot of people were going to craft the expensive hunter cards regardless of power level. Other tier one decks require a lot of epics that feel less exciting to craft or are just much more expensive overall.

How is odd rogue much more expensive than spell hunter or secret hunter? They have almost the same amount of legendaries(there are viable odd rogue decks with 2 legendaries actually). Evenlock can also have 3 legendaries and work fine(like spell hunter has 3 nowadays). However these decks are not seeing that much of a play right now.(I doubt that their play-rates combined is equal to only spell hunter). Only the beast hunter version is cheap. (Deathrattle is a very expensive deck).
What I want to point here is that people are playing hunter , not because it's broken, but because people are netdecking, they are following the meta like "sheeps" and they pay too much attention to twitch pro streamers that , each and every one, pointing out that Hunter is the best class to reach legend.
I love playing the ladder but the number of hunters is just insane. Imho fix is not that hard, change Zul’jin to a “if your deck has only one copy of each card” (kazakus/Reno) and change spellstone mana cost to 6 and the hunter aids will be much less.
That being said, i havent found any decks that produce good Results against hunters and are fun to play. So im, like a lot of other players, pretty fucked atm.
Bliz utterly killed Kingsbane Rogue after like two weeks. Couldn't wait for the next set rotation to kill Odd Paladin. But we'll almost surely be stuck with Hunterstone for the next few months.
My solution? Just rotate everything now. Un'Goro, Frozen Throne, Kobolds? All gone. Jump-start the new meta.
I love Deathstalker Rexxar. It's a very cool, very fun card. It adds a lot of nifty decision making with the Build-A-Beast. But it's also a massive value tool which can carry a deck late-game despite investing nearly every card slot into the early and mid-game. I'm glad I've gotten to play with Deathstalker Rexxar. It's time for him to go, along with so many other things.

Other good decks are: even paladin, even shaman, otk priest, odd warrior, control mage. These decks are all pretty expensive. I don't know about Evenlock, but, in my opinion, odd rogue is countered by too many decks to be good right now. I can't speak for anyone else, but I was playing spell and deathrattle hunter before anyone thought they were good and before there were optimized versions. (In spell hunter's case people originally thought it was good but I played it after the hype died down.) I don't watch streamers, so I can't speak to that. But I don't see why streamers would be hyping up hunter decks so much right now when their are so many counter techs. Right now I don't play either of those decks because their current versions are super swingy. (You either dominate or get demolished.) However, I can't afford to play any of the tier 1 deck I mentioned unless I want to use resources I'm saving for next exspantion.
You misunderstod the game. 9 heroes, +2000 cards, but i am playing against the same class, with the same 30 cards, over and over and over again.
Its so FUCKING BORING, the game is about fun. It's not fun to force people to play a counter to hunters. Thats making THEM deciding what you should play?!
Right now the meta is 100% hunter, or play a 100% counter to hunter, thats the only 2 ways of playing HS right now :D, might aswell remove the 8 other classes.
We know from VS that Hunter is around 25% of the Meta. 25% is not 100%.
If you find the game boring, play some other game. HS will go on without you.

too bad i can't upvote this more than one time, just play another game, right now you either play deck A or B to counter deck A or a counter to deck B, boring af, also ladder is meaningless, there's a lot of great stuff out there
it's more like 75% in reality while ladder climbing.
it's 25% at legend.
there are way more hunters while climbing.
(I'm referring to the amount of hunters on ladder. at legend hunter gets wrecked. it's only so good Vs. lesser experienced or skilled players at the bottom of the ladder. this is what \i heard anyway from friends who ladder. I don't really play enough games to ladder so I can't really comment on it. I can say that 8/10 games are Vs. hunter at the bottom end though in constructed.)
I'm playing an off-meta steal priest which is doing nicely vs hunters. I'm having more fun than the hunters I would think...
What Rank are you? Stats with bigger sample size show that the playrate of hunter is abou 30-40 percent

I do agree. This morning I played 6 Hunters and a Shaman. I know what you're thinking. A Shaman? In this Meta? Oh it's true. It's damn true.
4/3/19 RIP Keith Flint. 😔

*Sigh*
Can we just stop these posts complaining about how many people are complaining about the amount of Hunters on ladder atm, please?
Kappa
Hunter is currently played 28% of the time.
Sure, that is probably a little higher than it should be but a LOT lower than what some users make it out to be here.
Y'all need to calm down a little.
NO we CAN'T !
We just love him / Rexxar/!!!

It's annoying, but that's what you get when something is the best class in the format.
Here's the thing which annoys me.
