Your stupidity is a big problem not devolve.Even shaman is the only deck on wild that is not cancer it plays for board while it doesnt relay on bs late game win condition only smashing your face with big minions which if you are keep clearing them you win.So learn to play and quit your bs about needing nerf the only thing required here is you get skills and better deck building. Also i foind it fun you want devolved nerfed but not barnes who auto wins the game when played on 4 lol
Are you for real. Devolve can make your shaman life real sour if you are unlucky with the spell. And getting bigger threats against you then before devolve. And on high cost minions it doesnt help at all almost
Wow... I cant believe people in this thread don’t see it as a problem. Stupid braindead card for braindead players, opponent plays taunt? Go face anyway. It’s half the reason that even shaman is such a degerenerate deck.

It's ok bro. Your username explains your opinion completely. :-)

Found the even shaman player.
Even shaman is the most powerful, easy to use deck in the game right now. There is literally nothing to learn about the deck and the fact that you think it is the only non cancerous deck shows how bad of a player you are.
@OP I would argue that Thing From Below is a bigger problem than Devolve. 0 mana 5/5s with taunt are never not good.
My stupid-assumption sense is tingling. People have different opinions, I play Even Shaman and I still think the card is bullshit, I don't think it needs a nerf because it obviously has bad outcomes too, and since it makes Big Priests cry like little bitches, I hope it never gets nerfed.
Sorry, but no. While i thinkt that devolve is for it's worth totally overpowered (no, it don't clear any board, but removing a taunt is often game-deciding), i don't think that it's the reason of even shaman being so overpowered in wild: the REAL issue is following:
Flametongue Totem This little card is the main offender of even Shaman: the burst and the ability to destroy nearly every minion makes this ability too strong. Together with Totem Golem and Jade Claws does this card clear absolute everything that the enemy can put on board.
Genn Greymane (and Baku the Mooneater) This is a general issue of Odd and Even in Wild. What we need is either more support of non-odd/even decks OR a counter to odd-even decks.
Totem Golem 2 Mana 3/4. This is far more overpowered that the 4 mana 7/7. This together with Flametongue Totem destroys nearly the whole board.
Thing from Below 0 mana 5/5 with taunt. Every minion that can cost 0 mana is overpowered.
What i think we need really nerfed is Flametongue-Totem. It's simply too strong and was already an issue in Old Gods when Aggro Shaman was totally destroying the ladder. But in the end if we should only target wild, then a nerf to Thing from below and Totem Golem should be enough.
So what about Mass Dispel then? Just lost against an Inner Fire Priest because of it, should I open a thread and cry that it should be nerfed? I mean, when people find out that it can bypass taunts and deathrattles and let you go face, priests will be rampant! Yeaaaah no.

Mass Dispel is 4 mana, not two. And it doesn't mess with base stats of the minions. A silenced Lich King is still an 8/8 at least.
Devolve *can* backfire but generally having everything cost 1 less will not be favorable for your opponent. Deathrattles and any and all buff/active effects are instantly removed for just 2 mana, which is very powerful. And Devolve has a high chance of giving your opponent a board they have zero synergy with.
Stating that Devolve doesn't affect a powerful board isn't accurate. Mass Dispel doesn't do this either if that's the case and it's 4 mana (but draws a card) rather than 2. Many of the powerful minions have active effects or Deathrattles or even both, Tirion being a solid example. I can't easily think of a 7 drop that would be better than a Tirion. And that's assuming a good 7 drop is given to your opponent.
For me the most annoying thing about it is that there is no counter outside of Counterspell itself and the minions are completely random. How do you improve your play against a potential Devolve? Play 0 mana minions? Play 11 mana minions?
I was very happy to see it rotate out of Standard. Shaman has plenty of ways to clear the board already.
How can this card still cost 2 mana?? Its played in high tempo agressive Even Shaman that has constant pressure.
If you try to put up taunts to protect yourself, he plays Devolve and guess what? Your hit for another 10+ damage to the face. Its a broken card.
Either nerf it to 3 mana or 5 mana
Is this the wrong thread?
Yes, you need the Salty page
Leper Gnome
Play something else.
lmfao its one of the only counters to spell AND DEATHRATTLE hunter and you want to nerf it XDDD huntard spotted
plze nurf wisp.

No, Devolve is NOT a big problem. It is a fun card. OK power level.

Devolve doenst kill or remove minions.
My Control-Player-Sense is tingling....

Any more cards you would like to be nerfed? I could have a talk with Team 5 HQ and make an arrangement just for you my special snowflake.
Just Another Legend Player#Kappa
Somehow Wild players find EVERY card/deck to be problematic. Further evidence of the skill disparity between Standard and Wild.
Devolve is not a problem, as others have mentioned it doesn't destroy the board, and I would say can be weaker than even a defile (same mana cost)
