I have played 26 games last 2 days with Mechacthun Pirate Rogue and only 7% of the opponents(2 of them) were Hunters. Actually the lowest, along with Shaman. (rank 5 on EU server). I can't understand all these people saying they have faced 11 Hunters sequentially and so on.
I was playing Spell Hunter during Witchwood mainly, but I am not a meta sheep, so now that everyone is on Zul'jin hype train I can't really enjoy the class as I don't enjoy being a meta slave. But this is so far from talking about Hunterstone and so on. People play whatever class and archetype you want(except odd paladin :P )
Oh no, I'm not making a Cubelock or Zoolock. Things aren't that desperate/sad yet.
I'm crafting Zul'jin. Bash Hunters all you want,he looks genuinely fun and game-swingy.
I don't know. I have no problems with playing hunters, but I'm really unsure with how well that card will work once rotation hits.
It's high impact, but only because it puts so many wolves on the field right after you wiped out so many other wolves earlier, and becuse you can swap into the DK afterwards.
All of hunter's current decks rely HEAVILY on last year's sets. There's not really much for him to work with except perhaps token/beast hunter, whiich doesn't sit well with Zul'jin.
Zul'jin looks fine now but feels risky. Of course I'm the one that crafted healadin and spirit of the dead priest so warning against 'risk' seems rather hypocritical so. there :P

Hello fellow anti-meta meme deck builder. I have also crafted Healadin, Battlecry Rogue, Mecha'cthun Rogue, Shudderwork Evolve Shaman, Bananaz Priest and a lot other meme decks. You are not alone in this world :P

I never minded meta decks if they were interesting. I also like even shaman and really should get into even paladin someday as it's up my ally (just never got around to trying it). I do tend to avoid the strongest decks though. I just get a feeling that it's already 'solved' so there's no reason to run something I already know will work.
It's just that this expansion has given me a LOT of odd decks to mess with. Right now I have:
Aggro frog shaman
Prelate/UT paladin
Spirit O bat buff zoo
Pogo Shark Rogue (which works horribly. I need to remake/dump it :/)
Spirit O shark priest (my main deck as I'm finding it's NOT easy to work with in a "I lost but I see where I screwed up" way)
Odd Warrior for when I want to hate on aggro :D
Quest Star Aligner Druid
Antonidas random spell mage: focuses on making spells, shrinking the cost, then spamming them with Antonidas. Shouldn't work at all but it's not.. horrible.
Lion buff Paladin, which I haven't tested much because of other decks
Undataka hunter.. basically recruit hunter with Undertaker just because.
Dragon/spirit priest..which...doesn't work :P
Overload Shaman, basically the recipe with tweaks.
Healadin. Fun to watch aggro decks see you do 20 damage to yourself, go face to finish you, then see you heal to full and take the board. Sidenote, 3/5 turtles at turn 2 are FUN.
Tess Rogue which I need to tweak someday because i THINK it can work
and Even Shaman because good and fun meta decks don't become trash just because others use it.
Pretty sure I won't get done with these decks before the next rotation. I understand why many hate this expansion, and I empathize while saying why it MAY be a necessary thing that can be great later on. But myself I'm very much enjoying myself. Also if everyone keeps running hunter I might get to rank 10-5 next month instead of my normal rank 17-15 self.

I will D A M A G E T H E S O U L of my opponent after each win with Zul'jin. Hopefully it will compensate eventually.
Ok, dude, do whatever you want, but seriously, how is this thread worthy?
I mean I don't remember being able to cheat out and fill my board with 5/7's with Charge or cheat out 3/9's with Taunts when I play Hunter.
Don't get me wrong man, by no means am I saying that Hunter is a "clean" class. But don't delude yourself.
I never said it is dude. Never intended it to be.
What's wrong with a little bragging now and then?
Nothing, but the mods may not like it. Next time, just don't do it (I'm just trying to save your ass, dude). ;)

Good for you buddy. We're all so proud of you!
