Hunter's powerlevel is not strictly more insane than others'.
Winrates show that Even Shaman is superior, Even Paladin as well i think, but nobody seem to care. Even decks are too subtle to become popular (with the exception of Wild Even Shaman, which abuses broken cards).
I'd say Hunter is surely powerful, but also probably the most obvious to play, maybe largely independently of the matchup.
WTF is The Glass Knight doing there ? I have played against a lot of Even and OTK paladin and only seen this card few times. I don't think it is necessary card in those decks, more like a flex card. I would rather expect Crystalsmith Kangor on the list. It has good synergy with buffs in Even Paladin and with loa in OTK Paladin.
Do you think hunters power level is ok at the moment?
Hunter is fine because it has a lot of counters. You can play aggro decks like Odd Rogue have a decent chance against Hunter, Odd Quest Warrior is a decent counter if you like control, OTK Paladin and Combo Priest covers the combo style. None of these are instant win against Hunter but neither they are instant lose. If you are a good player I am sure you can win >50% of the time with these decks, at least at lower ranks.
Glass Knight makes sense if you think about it. Glass Knight is only in even paladin and even Paladin is the highest WR Paladin deck overall and one of the top WR decks overall. Kangor is in decks with lower win rates like OTK and the super bad holy wrath thing.
Then isn't this a textbook example of "stats don't lie, people do" ? Glass Knight is played in few Even Paladin which have high winrates while Kangor is played in most Paladin decks right now, with both high and low winrates. In any case I think Kripp made a critical error of taking the data without context, probably because he doesn't play constructed much. Kangor deserve to be on that list and I would argue it should be higher than 10th place.
Kangor wasn't in the list due to it having a lower impact overall in even paladin (▼56.4% mulligan win-rate, ▼56.1% drawn win-rate and ▼53.2% played win-rate, all lower than The glass knight.) However, kripp was definitely wrong as Genn Greymane should have been on the list, considering that Even shaman and even paladin are in the top 4 best performing decks.
While on the topic of Hunter, if you lose to them, just play more control decks
Kangor is another lifesteal activator for corpse takers in even paladin, and can straight up win you the game against something like odd rogue.
Considering even paladin has a 52.9% win-rate against odd rogue, it doesn't seem to straight up win many matches.

I won a game as Even Paladin I should have lost because my opponent was stupid enough to leave Kangor alive. Next turn: Dinosize on Kangor and I got back to full health.
hunter is good against people who don't know how to mulligan or play around secrets, as aggro mulligan for voard control tools rather than damage, as control have a 3 damage board clear in hand.. if you don't trigger secrets on unfavorable times you should do fine against hunter, also play around 2 damage aoe from rexxar, as well as pressure him once he plays rexxar.
if your netdeck control deck can't handle the zombeasts you can switch a few cards that will give you more tempo, for example you can opt to put oondasta in odd warrior to cheat a few beasts out (baku is a beast!!) or take out elise for chief inspector, or/and add another ooze or even harrison.
in odd mage you can take out low win rate cards like baron geddon and add more early game or secret counters maybe mct against wolves
you can tech to beat hunter and the meta game but people prefer to complain
I’m starting to fall in the line of Rexxar and Spellstone are both problems. There are so many great targets for Zombeasts that there always seems to be an answer. Had a hugely frustrating bout as a control warrior. I had nine cards in hand and the hunter was top decking. He beat me because every threat I put down was imidiately poisoned or taunted up. There’s so much rush and charge to go with it.
The spellstone is even worse. I feel like if I can’t board wipe for 3 damage at turn 5 I can’t play that class on ladder. Often it’s difficult to even trade because of the secrets.

It's because other decks that are not even paladin play the card. So the win rate goes down. Because the card is only in even paladin it gets rated higher than the better legendaries that have more widespread use.

There are good Hunter decks that don’t play Spellstone - all good Hunters run the DK. But it is not the only broken Death Knight.
Ever since the nerfs I immediatly knew hunter would become the dominant class. But the average winrate they reached, was beyond my predictions. I have no clue how Blizzard could not have forseen this. I am very sad to say that this is the 2nd time since the release of hearthstone from Beta (first one was undertaker), I am taking a break until the next expansion.
A big problem theyre going to have isn't even due to the legendaries. They've made it easy for a bad player to take a super budget deck, and climb the ladder with it just going face. Maybe they're just trying to give new FTP players some confidence? Get them climbing, so they'll spend money next expansion? So, alot of the players that usually sit at level 20, are swarming through the ladder... Most of them will probably slip back down on or before next expansion, but if there was a deck I could have climbed the ladder with for 800 dust when I started, I would have loved it too.
The only real issue i find is that they always have rexxar on curve regardless if they play tracking or not, and my dk uther is the bottom 5 cards and drawing way more cards than them all game..
We seriously need to stop opening new threads about how unfairly op hunter is.
Get over it.
Counter it.
Or join it.
This mentality is exactly the problem. "Get over it".. no we pay for this game as well. When it's not balanced, there is room to call for change.
"Counter it". Number do not lie. Please tell me what consistently counters this at the moment aside from one specific warrior archetype?
"Join it" .. No my IQ is over 84. Playing hunter has no appeal to anyone even remotely considering coming close to an average intelligence. It's built for the idea that pressure is a winning strategy rather than decision making. Deathrattle hunter is complete dog shit and people who play it are parasites of the system.
ok, so you just said that hunter is the highest winrate class. but that happens every meta, logically, one class has to have the highest winrate.
we seriously need to talk about the amount of anti hunter threads out there.
No we dont. People who play hunter do absolutely nothing for society and generally the class breeds toxicity. Rexxar needs to go as a whole. "2 dmg face GUYZYZYZYZ"
Perhaps we should start reporting those who open these threads. Every day there are at least 5 new ones. If you've spent your time learning the game and getting good, instead of looking for hunter related things to open threads on, you wouldn't have such a hard time in the game.
I'm just here to offer stats and people should look up that video
I consider myself fairly good... rank 4 wild, rank 9 standard currently. Couldnt play alot this season with work and the holidays. When I did play majority are hunters. Usually when blizzard looks to nerf or balance cards, they look for "design space" right now hunter has like 3 or 4 good decks going for them. Every player is a hunter or at the most every other opponent I play vs. Now, being that I got and am good I destroy them especially the silly aggro ones. The secrets sometimes get me though. My issue with your comment is that YOU took the time to click this forum and put your foolish "cry thread" bs comment in it. Instead of adding your valuable opinion you put this.. if you really have a problem with the "salt thread" and you dont want to contribute, just skip past it. No1 cares what u think about the thread. Most people who write up these threads love the game so much and want to receive responses that can help understand or brainstorm how to beat their problem. That's y I came. If you have nothing smart to say and no advice to help the writer, please stick to just playing the game or w.e. the heck you do on your spare time.
Now.. I saw the list with the legendary has well, my best advise is use your health has a tool, sometimes taking face dmg can help you in the long run. Knowing what to play around helps alot also. Ultimately hunters are rampant but they can be best. You can go on vicioussyndicate to learn what decks counter hunter also. Good luck and see you on the playing grounds
We do need to take about hunter. About how hunter is fair.
Hunter was the only class that didn't get a Nerf or Hall of Fame targeting it in 2017 nor 2018. All the other classes did. So in a certain perspective, Hunter is the only fair class. It only looks overpowered because all the other classes used to be busted and are in their post Nerf states.

Stop the crying, go play warrior and control them easily.

I'm running Chief Inspector in all my decks at the moment.
I play Rush Warrior at the moment and i love playing against hunter, it's a really skill intensive matchup espacially bc of Spirit of the rhino
The only way i lost yet was rly bullshit rng by zuljin
