Firstly I will say this is a different thread than most hunter salt threads. I have statistics with me (or well that being Kripparrian who informed the stats to me)
Before coming here to only shit talk you should maybe look at the stats I just posted here and actually argue about the topic and say why those are wrong and that hunter is ok or something.
Kripparrian just made a video of top 10 legendary cards by winrate. Note that it was done my measuring by deck winrate not play winrate.
What did we get out of this? Seven out of ten legendary cards by deck winrate are included in hunter decks.
Yes I do realise some of those rotate to wild and that legendary winrate is kinda different yadayada but talking about the state of the game right now, this is not good. I just saw a thread that said 47/100 games were spell hunter and I'm not sure if he meant only spell hunter so that means theres still deathrattle hunter on top of that.
Maybe someone will find out a deck that fits to meta since nerfs came and absolutely shits on hunter.
Do you think hunters power level is ok at the moment?
Yep, it's ridiculous. And we will have a ton of white knights admonish us for always finding something to complain about, but this was obvious from the deeply flawed nerf package. Hunters were destined to dominate after that in an unhealthy and oppressive way. I doubt I'll play ladder anymore this expansion, seems like a masochistic experience.
I dont like any meta where hunter has infinite value and beats control decks that dont have a way to OTK an opponent.
I remember the good old days where you had 15 health at turn 7 as a control deck against an aggro deck and they just concedes to you because they couldn't win past that point.
But bow every aggro deck has inherent value generation where you need to play an OTK deck to stand a chance. And control is dead.
Perhaps we should start reporting those who open these threads. Every day there are at least 5 new ones. If you've spent your time learning the game and getting good, instead of looking for hunter related things to open threads on, you wouldn't have such a hard time in the game.

Bright side: the nerfs helped with the oppressive Infinite Shudderwock, Kingsbane Infinite Heal & Odd Pally dominance.
Haven't seen Togwaggle Druid, which is nice, but some of those players moved on to Paladin, where they get to Holy Wrath for 25-50+ damage in a single turn. Also, while immune to all damage, they have the option to OTK with Uther Exodia. Sigh. Fun & interactive!
Every third deck I play against on ladder now is versus hunter, and they usually win. I guess we all play hunter now...I miss playing druid. I miss playing control decks in general.
Come on, if legendaries are played in decks with high winrates, then they have high winrates themselves.
Simple correlation, no causality, nothing new here.
Hunter is strong, we knew that before you presented evidence. One class is always bound to dominate, this time it is hunter. I rather play against one of the three hunter decks than against pirate warriors or, even worse, aggro shamans.

At least they nerved Undertaker ages ago. :)
That is true, but Blizzard should have thought a bit more that what class will get the most benefit after the nerfs and thats hunter. Just simple changes as spellstone to 6 mana or DK to 7 mana would have done something
Man this stats means jackshit. Kripp took stats from HSReplay.
The way it works top winrate legendaries will be in top winrate decks according to HSReplay, that's why you see legendaries that are included in top winrate decks like Spell Hunter, Deathrattle Hunter, Even Shaman, Even Paladin and Odd Warrior.
If you checked the same list 2 weeks ago, you know which legendary would be the NR 1 legendary? Prince Liam. How often did you see that leg in play? Not often I guess, it was just included in some Odd Paladin lists which was clearly the highest winrate deck. Does it make this legendary good? Absolutely not.
Hunter is not OK. But I find Kripparian to be way above my daily Salt Intake Level so I don't watch him.
Hunter is in a really good spot right now, that's true. But that doesn't stop me playing EvenLock, Tesspionage or Evolve Shaman. And I'm pretty sure that there are ways around it. Mass Hysteria is a good board clear, Odd Warrior might do well, Big Spell Mage.... I dunno about that one, in any case, I just play what I find.
I do run a Hunter Deck from time to time based around Masters Call and its fun. But the Deathrattle/Secret/Spell Hunter don't appeal to me.
Not to rain on your parade, OP, but it was spectacularly obvious that hunter was going to start going bananas after the nerfs, since its worst matchup (Odd Paladin) got slammed into the turf. When a strong class's worst matchup takes a major hit, what do you expect to happen?
By the way, if hunter is so powerful, why not go play it some? Spell hunter is a pretty engaging and interesting deck to play as. (Side note: I mostly played Odd Paladin before the nerfs, so I'm not just saying that because I play it constantly.)
Edit: And your topic is not really true. Your stated viewpoint is pretty obvious. Which makes it incredibly ironic that I'm bothering to make this post.

Watch a Kripp video? I would rather have root canal surgery.
Just add tag to HERO card and change rule this way: only one hero card per deck. Hunter will not be broken any more and wild also will be more secure in the future. It's nothing hard to do. Also they will be able print more hero card without risking situation when someone will be run 5 hero cards in one deck (in the future).
Hunter is strong and that's certainly because of some key cards; however, I do not find it oppressive and there are lots of counters. Deathstalker Rexxar is a very slow card. Take advantage of it. Shuffling a minion into their deck also breaks a lot of their spell synergy. Use your imagination or join the party and play some double-Hero card Hunter while you still can in Standard.

Hunter has a few too many tools now. They are going to be ridiculous for the next 4 months.

Those who are given more in life, must not cling to it, but risk it all at every moment!
Rexxar is the best looking of the (male) hero’s. He deserves it.
Kripp and the rest of the cry babies WILL BE HUNTED DOWN.
holly shit this type of topics will be popping up till April now that the hunter is strong, move on people nothing to see here
btw the beast hunter is really honest deck that fights for the board with minions don't open salty topis
Thank you.

We seriously need to stop opening new threads about how unfairly op hunter is.
Get over it.
Counter it.
Or join it.

4/3/19 RIP Keith Flint. 😔

Also since the nerf all the druids are gone. I haven't seen a single one in like 70 games on ranks 5-3...

Missing lethal since February 2014.
