Yeah opening multiple useless epics is really frustrating. Epics is where blizzard makes their money these days I think, since the change to legendaries. So I understand there being some 'filler' epics but some just go too far. If the card isn't even passable in arena format they don't need to create such horrible but extremely rare cards. Greed.
Oh you can't even image, not only have opened only 2 legendaries in 58 packs (i hit pity timer twice...one on 9th pack and the second on exactly 50th pack) but i have gotten 4 ice cream dust and some other bs cards. The only cards, and i mean the only cards i wanted in this expansion was soulwarden and that pala epic that keeps buffs and i had to craft all 4 of them. Feelsbadman...
But that's Hearthstone. I also know I am subject to bias - getting these can be triggering and overshadow where I've had good luck with getting stuff that I want, and synergizes with my collection. So hard to be fair because of the way it makes you feel. Skews my view.
And of course if every epic was fantastic then there would be people (me included) who would be unhappy how many epics you needed to play.

I must be misunderstanding something here. By creating expensive epics that you don't need, they are being greedy? Is it less greedy to make all epics competitive cards that you'll have to craft or open?
Gurubashi Offering is just a mistake. The only time I've ever even seen it was when some try-hard quest hunter played that 2/3, summon a random 1-drop for your opponent, against me and the offering was what I got. That said the Ice Cream Peddler isn't unusable and there is a weird armor up shudderwock running around that uses it to absolutely devastating effect. https://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1207249-armour-plated-ice-cream-shaman
Most epics are meant to be for very niche use, so it's unavoidable that you would find yourself opening epics that you have no use for. But just because you have no use for them doesn't meant they are useless. Cards like Ice Cream Peddler and Bring It On! are already played in certain decks, and who knows, someone might find a way to use Gurubashi Offering in some type of deck.

I think Surrender to Madness could be slotted in an aggro priest deck in the future.
Blizzard keeps doing dumb cards every expansion. You can come in terms with this when they make trash commons like the new turtle (5 damage to the face? For real?) but when it comes to epics and legendaries...
In the Frozen Throne there were no trash DK cards, for example. And now what do we see? Yeah, some epics were not so good, but now...
It all makes sense when you’re trying to launch a new expansion with 135 new cards 3 times in a year and your imagination kinda fades out. Moreover, you’re trying not to make some unbalanced shit (hello, spell hunter). But quality of epics and legendaries are decreasing over time and that’s a bad thing
I dont think there is a single player who wants to open Gurubashi Offering or Ice Cream Peddler for an epic, and Rastakhan has too many of these.
I opened Gurubashi Offering like ten times already. :(

Blizz loves me as much as i love it...damm
Why does Gurubashi Offering even exists? I just realized it now without knowing I disenchanted it already.
I like elementals and totems.
I think most people will feel your pain.
Another Ice Cream Peddler, Splitting Image or Surrender to Madness. Really don't need 3 or 4 of these (or 1 even).
And missing the few epics I actually want.

.
I think Gurubashi Offering is not that bad, I mean Bring It On! ?

got 2 void contracts.. damn pack filler cards (this one is also a noob bait)
Gurubashi Offering is a card I believe is more for Warrior or Druid decks to build up a quick armor to activate Lesser Jasper Spellstone and protection for the Druid, also to synergize with the cards like Heavy Metal! and Geosculptor Yip for Warrior because if you look at the list for 8 cost minions its a pretty decent list (Charged Devilsaur, Al'Akir the Windlord, Deranged Doctor, Tirion Fordring, etc.).

Gurubashi Offering is a Rogue Card 1 mana Gain 8 Armor , just pair it with Master of Disguise , is the healing that Rogue needed all the time ...
it's just a tech card, keeps Combo decks in check.

So you are playing it in your deck? how many games did it won for you?

Followed by a Bladed Gauntletseems cool , but wild only
bring ot on was part of dead mans hand warrior in koft, not a tier 1 deck but it was played..
Ehm, guys? bad epics\legendaries make the game cheaper, you know? anyone who likes his money should welcome more of them.
