Big spell mage is a nightmare for minion based decks because of all the board clears and massive end game healing, but it has strong weaknesses to specific things.
sticky boards that can't be removed with one spell (token druid, deathrattle hunter/rogue). You set up your board so they have to clear it but also pop your deathrattles so it's not really clear, all the while they don't get to play anything but the one spell.
OTK decks of any kind like Shudderwock, Mechathun, Mill druid, Res Priest, will have a really easy time because big spell mage is very reactive, it doesn't put much pressure at all until the late game when it's usually too late.
Burn Mage with some well placed secrets will usually melt their face off before they can jaina.
Midrange decks with several big threats like spiteful druid and Even lock can beat it but you have to play smart and kill them before they can Jaina. These matchups are usually pretty even.
Big Spell Mage is all about stopping pressure from boardcentric decks like Zoo, Odd Paladin and Odd Rogue.
Best thing to do is play something that is sticky, Deathrattle Hunter or Token Druid for example. Control even typically has trouble with slower mages because Jaina is tough to outvalue.
It's pretty easy with Control/Odd Warrior too. Pressure with minions until Jaina to bait out removals, polymorphs etc., then after Jaina just armor up and don't play minions. They will play Voodoo Doll on empty boards just to ping them lol. Let them die in fatigue.
U need to play wisps with soul of the forest while having roar in hand. This way if they clear the board u will still have ur trents and just savage roar next turn
Any combo deck. Shudderwock might as well be 100%. Other combo decks can get it done as long as you're patient. The Jaina HP is amazing, but lifesteal isn't armor, so if you take out Arcane Artificers as soon as they're played, Mages basically max out at 49 HP (two Flamestrikes and Frostlich Jaina). Just be patient and wait for your full combo to form. The only way they can disrupt token Druid is with double Dragon's Fury. Control Priest can chip away at armor, Psychic Scream wellies, and then has plenty of burn for post-Alex finishing. Odd Warrior can just tank up and avoid playing minions. Deathrattle Hunter is very sticky, and every Hunter deck has a great chance once you find Deathstalker Rexxar.
With more aggressive decks, keep in mind that Mage doesn't have any removal until turn 4. If you're playing Odd Rogue, for instance, look for an early cold blood. It'll stick around.
There is no need to change decks at all. Token druid when played properly should have an extremely high winrate against control mage. The statistical winrate is only 'slightly favored' because token druid is difficult to play while contol mage is extremely hard to play against correctly
All you need to do is abuse the fact that their only in deck answer to wisper + soul is double dragon's fury, which only cleans up one wave. Nothing else really matters other than setting up a full and clean wisper + soul boards to end the game in one go. Don't waste soul on anything other than a big board of wisps or trents. If you play it on anything sturdier, they can simply blizzard and dismantle your board over two turns. Wisps on the other hand, die and leave behind tokens that can attack Immediately
To set up a proper wisp + soul board there must not be too many minions available on the opponent's side to pop open your wisps. You're free to use your other minions and removal to do so since they're not important in this match. You must also have the roar and/or branching follow up ready to kill them before dropping this combo. As a druid against a slow control deck, you should have no trouble staying alive and drawing cards
The taunt build of token druid is more powerful than the old teacher lists in other matchups but both builds should be extremely favored vs control mage. The taunt list generally plays out more like a tempo deck than its counterpart but you need to play it like a combo deck to win this match
Aggro / tempo mage is a fairly good pick against BSM. Unless they can get a good artificer turn and you get no counterspells. When I used to play BSM they would wreck me, if I won a game against them they would always say well played lol.
Is there any deck that counters this? I think I have a zero percent win rate against it.
What are you playing?
Deathrattle Hunter EZ or any combo deck. Or Token Druid.

Token druid.
I don't have Swamp King Dred. What can I replace him with?

When I played token druid he just cleared my minions with his and then played blizzard, or he used MCT, et cetera.

Yes, I did that, but by the time I had all these cards he had a board and could kill my minions and then clear the treants.
Also I do not have Floop, so maybe by token druid deck is not good enough for ladder.
Use any value deck, kingsbane rogue, steal rogue, taunt Druid, recruit hunter etc
Deathrattle hunter. Also any combo deck destroys big spell mage
What should I replace Swamp King Dred with in deathrattle hunter?
Swamp King Dred ? Really? I thought I was the only freak playing it in DR Hunter. Play Savannah Highmane instead.

Tempo Mage is almost an auto win vs big spell Mage!
