I have about 200-300 bucks to spend on a tablet and would like to have a better portable hearthstone device than my extremely outdated phone, i prefer people answering who have the tablet themselves so i can hear real opinions instead of just talking about the specs.
doesnt matter if its apple or android im alright with both
Well, I think Nvidia Shield K1 is like the best tablet for the buck (It is also super powerful). I mean we all know iPads are super expensive unless you buy an older used one.
Others are just way more expensive and do not deliver on the promises imo.
I've got an NVIDIA Shield K1 tablet and I can confirm it runs Hearthstone very well. It's a nice mid-range tablet that has good specs without being overly expensive. For some reason there aren't a lot of mid-range tablets: most are either cheap but with specs that make them a bit uncomfortable to use, or have good specs but come with a hefty price tag.
The screen (1080p) is very sharp, which is nice if you're also using it for web browsing. Browsing feels very responsive; I guess having a relatively beefy CPU and GPU helps here.
The internal storage is only 16 GB of which Android takes up about 4 GB and Hearthstone 3.5 GB, so there is not a whole lot of space left for other applications. The tablet does have an SD slot, but I haven't tested whether you can install apps on the SD or whether it's only for data.
One thing that is a bit annoying is that when you want to drag cards onto the board, if you start the drag too low on the screen, Android will pop up the triangle/circle/square menu bar. I guess all modern Android devices will have this problem though, ever since the physical navigation buttons were replaced by on-screen buttons.
The Shield tablet comes without a charger, but you can use a micro-USB charger if you already have one. I'm using one that I originally bought as a power supply for a Raspberry Pi.
Does it stutter any? I expect it to do it with big animations like Lich King minion or deathknights and that doesnt bother me. But does it lag constently a little bit, or is it a steady fps mostly.

I primarily use my Ipad to play hearthstone and I have a used older version and it runs just fine. I can't vouch for it over the other suggestions, but it has been good to me.

It will onoy stutter if you play off of the SD card. If you save/run from hard drive smooth sailing.
Anger is the punishment we give ourselves for someone else's mistake.
It's Hearthstone, it will lag on any device.
Trust me, it will.
I am using Amazon Fire Tab 10. Works nice
IPad Pro 9.7
