I've seen people miss lethal because they were trying to do their extra BS and used one mana too many. Oooh that was nice killing them.

Shudderwock means driving a clown car in circles around your opponent while he swings his sword at you. Half the time he chops you and your car to pieces. The other half you park on his legs and 40 clowns come out one by one, trampling him to death.
I've never understood players who drag out games longer than they need to be. I have often left to get a beer or use the restroom at the end of my turn when my opponent could win. I'm amazed at how many times I come back to see them still carrying out their turn or sometimes even finishing their turn and intentionally not winning.
I always laugh at this, because they are literally playing by themselves. What exactly is going on in these player's heads? How is this enjoyable for them? If I come back and the game is still going, I just concede. What do I care?
In a game where a 60% win-rate is desirable, why would I take any given loss personally? I know the other player is losing often as well. We are all losing often. I just assume that player is winning so infrequently that it's a big deal to them.
I think most of us have stepped on both sides of being an arse or not. I know that I certainly have. Wasting time remains my pet peeve. Why clear my board, kill my minions, set your traps and then hero power if the hero power is all you need.
People who behave like absolute dicks, such as having lethal and either trolling around by pretending to not have lethal by using non-lethal cards until the very last second where *BOOM* 2 fireballs in the face after having just used 2 mirror images
And they certainly don't ever do that because they want to finish their "Play X cards of Y" quests ... no man, they are all out to get you, beware! :O

you have a point there. I do this sometimes.
like if I have a quest to play spells I will make some janky spell heavy deck then go into a match and just spam spells at people until I die and then re-load. I guess the opponent mostly gets a free win in these situations though.
unrelated, but... I wish they would remove the wins with certain classes quests. I only have warlock and paladin decks and I cannot put together anything good enough to get wins with the other classes. The only way I can complete these quests is to get someone to play me and just throw the games once they are at 15 health.... This is what I used to do anyway, I have not seen the guy around that used to do this for me this year at all so I just have to keep refreshing quests until I can get a one that I can finish.
I realize the chances of this happening are slim, as it means people spend more money in theory to have valid decks to complete quests.
I just wish the quests were more like the special ones we just had, win x amounts of games, play x amount of cards and stuff. I always seem to get "win x amount of games" with classes I don't play (because I don't have enough cards)

This is why I wish they would get rid of the "Pay X cards of Y" quests. I personally try to avoid doing this and always try to go lethal as quickly as possible. Though, I admit, that I have occasionally done this if I knew I was just a few plays away from completing an annoying quest. I always try to do it as quickly as possible, but it can easily be interpreted as me trying to be a dick.
you should be able to report people for roping every turn and clicking "end turn" a second before it's over, and I would put some sort of feature where you could report people net-decking in casual for "easy gold". You'd only be punished if like 5 or more other people reported you for the same thing, but reporting someone for playing the cards in their hand before killing you is ridiculous.

what why!?! the play X cards are the BEST quests!!! They should get rid of the "win x games"! Playing X cards makes the game way more fun because it rewards people for playing horrible decks that just run like 20 divine shield minions or what not. Rewarding people for winning games is sooooo bad for the game because it encourages people to all play the best net deck to win games the fastest and as a result, we have this really frustrating and boring ladder where you go against the same 5 decks every game.....
Also, it isn't BM at all for you to play your hand before killing them. In fact, I get annoyed when people DON'T do that. I'm curious to see what they had in their hand, and it's annoying that I don't get to see it. That's like if you went to a MTG tournament and played against someone face to face and after they won, they just got up from the table and left without letting you see their hand. My god, people are such drama queens. How on earth did that become BM to reveal your hand!?
For good reasons I don't think blizzard wants to be flooded with reports about rng, hacking accusations, cancerous decks and ingame BM.
While I don’t think Hearthstone has a generally toxic player base to justify a report system, such things exist.
Take a look at World of Tanks , there are buttons to report a player for :
unsportsmanship, being afk/bot , bad language/ spamming etc. of course nothing happens after one report but after hundreds or more reports they will eventually ban that person ( for a short amount of time ,or longer if he/she doesn’t change) .
They could implement such a system with very little manpower behind it. But do we really need this?
( Personally I found, at the higher ranks there is almost no BM happening)
There are times where I feel like playing certain decks by themselves are bad sportsmanship. Hyper aggro or any deck where the word “fatigue” is used to describe its win condition.
People like OP are the true toxic players. If someone wants to mess around and draw out their kill let them. They have won the right. The only true toxic way to play is to rope, every damn turn.
Lol. OP is t toxic, players that defend dipshit play styles are

Sure that’s true, but it’s the dipshit asshats who do it at the last second rather than quickly.
This game really highlights how many pathetic losers there are in this world. It’s best to move on and pity them rather than get overly butthurt tbh.
What punishments do you suggest for simply using features in the game, perhaps in a poor manner and who's to judge what's allowed or not since it's merely features in the game used in a certain way.
A rather stupid suggestion.
You know, abusive chat is “just using features in the game”. Doesnt make it acceptable. :-)
I dont agree that being a bad winner is reportable of course, but the old game features adage doesnt always work.
Oh the irony... Weren't you the one who added me after our game and told me and I quote:" !@#$ing retard netdecker. What a %^&*" after I said "gg" to you? I'm the guy who was playing Odd Rogue against your netdeck Control Warlock btw.
most decks can come back from very poor positions so bm can be punished(see for example krips' video- "don't play with your food")
some people don't have lethal and bluff it to win games they shouldn't win. it's more effective against salty opponents)
I have won a few games doing exactly that I still lose the majority of those but about 30% of the time they concede thinking it is just bm.
Always nice to win any game you had lost due to mind games. If OP got their way they would probably want me banned for it but really it is part of the game.

Nice try, but they are not toxic enough bro. :(
If you don't like it, just squelch from start? no emotes... Happier days (Right-click opponents face choose squelch, get coffee, that's it)

Reports are abused, so personally I don't feel they should ever be implemented in game.
OP are you suggesting that not noticing lethal immediately should get a person in trouble?

The best is the guys who well played you, and hover a card like they have lethal, but don't. Lame.
