I was just wondering about how common it is to craft legendaries that can't be played in Standard. After debating it for a while I finally crafted Emperor Thaurissan which has slotted nicely into my dragon priest and Renolock deck. I've certainly not regretted it but it is a bit painful parting with so much dust that can only be played in wild. Anyway just wondering if folk generally do this or keep all dust for Standard?
I just crafted Mal'Ganis back when Un'goro was released, but my wild collection was pretty good already. I don't regret it even if I don't play Wild that often
Certain ones are really fun to play with and are worth crafting. I've crafted Sneed's Old Shredder and that's the only one so far but cards like Mal'Ganis and Nexus Champion Saraad are on my list to eventually craft as well.
I craft Wild Legendaries all the time for deck testing ~ It's fun and some times you can find some really broken interactions. ^^

I got Reno through the Adventure, dusted it to get needed standard cards at the time, and recently recrafted it because it's so awesome. Had Sylvanus too... now dust in the wind. Thinking about recrafting her also. Mal'Ganis is also tempting me... I'm just starting to delve into Wild play.

I've crafted a few. It doesn't really feel like a waste cause I play wild more than standard, and these cards will probably be good forever, versus standard legendaries that are a lower power level and might not be played anymore when they rotate out.
I mainly craft wild legendaries since you can't get them from packs
You can buy wild packs from the Blizzard store and get them that way, but obviously in that case you HAVE to spend real dollars. But hey, that's how I got Gormok the Impaler and just dominated the Wild ladder. (false, I have dominated nothing with Gormok)
I'm playing Wild since its introducion so I obviously craft Wild legendaries. It doesnt feel like a waste of dust. Actually, any craft of any legendary doesnt feel like a waste of dust because I can play with it forever. So my question is: How does Standart F2P feel when he is crafting legendary just to play with it in Standart for less than 2 years?
if you play wild then yes :) I craft the essentials... N'zoth, Sylvannas, Ragnaros, and whatever is Tier 1. If there is deck that uses a legendary that's pretty meh but great if you have already have it, I'll just replace the card in the deck.
The only legendary I have ever crafted exclusively for wild was Shaku, the Collector. I don't regret it, since I play a lot of Wild Burgle Rogue.
I'd say it's worth it to craft wild legendaries on the condition that you'll play with them often (either in a deck archetype you love or across a wide array of decks.). Emperor Thaurissan, as stated before, is a perfect example of a card that is necessary for a wide array of decks.
I crafted N'zoth and I have been loving him. I dropped $30 CAD on Naxx a few months ago and I do not regret a thing. I prefer Wild over Standard because Wild is where you get to see crazy decks that are always different. In Standard I face only Odd Paladins and Odd Rogues and every match up is the same, and it is so boring. Plus Wild cards are generally more fun and crazy than Standard cards. And the synergies are CRAZY.
Yep, I almost exclusively play wild. If there is a wild only legendary that I can't get from packs anymore and enables another new combo deck then you can bet I'll probably craft it eventually.
Normally I play Standard, but I really wanted to try out some warlock control lists and today I crafted Mal'Ganis. I also never dust my wild cards, only those who are pure trash and I desperately need the dust to craft something good.
As for Emperor - he is most certainly a safe craft. He's an auto include in various combo decks, so if you also like playing them, so you will feel even more satisfied from this legendary.
Not really, I have most of the good (and many awful) ones already. I have been considering Aviana, but combo decks have never appealed that much to me.

Which ranks are you usually playing at? I also mostly play Wild but from rank 5 to Legend you do not experience that variety on the EU ladder. At low legend (which is where I stay at) I do have some fun games.
I stopped playing Standard ranked at rank 14 after I got bored of playing against the same bunch of decks. I haven't ever gotten particularly high in ranked wild, so I guess I've never been high enough to really experience an overwhelming amount of one deck type, but I have never gotten bored of it.
Aviana, Kun, Mal'Ganis, Ragnaros... As I only play Wild to climb the ladder and consider eternal formats cheaper in the long run, yeah, I basically craft a bunch of Wild Legendaries.

Loatheb (too bad it is not Even) and Aviana.
I doubt i'll craft more tho.

I have in the past, but it's unlikely I'll craft many more as I have most of the playable ones.
Wild and Standard makes no difference, to me a Wild legendary is still worth the same 1600 dust as a Standard one.
