you are very confused. the bundles are different on pc versus andriod and iphone. it used to be that you could only purchase 40 pack bundles on iphone and android and the 60 pack bundles were only available to the pc players. i believe this has been changed recently, though it may not have been. what also used to be the case was that canadian players paid the same price for cards as US players. that is the most frustrating change for me. so, imo the extra packs offered is more of a coverall so that both mobile and pc players get the same offer and not because the company needs to save face.
More packs in an environment where legendaries must be had to execute certain strategies means packs have less value on average. I see them adding 20 packs as an attempt to cover up this anomoly and people's discontent. Truth is nothing short of the rapture is gonna stop the cash cows from filling Blizzard's coffers.

If you thought you knew what you think I know, then you'd know I knew you knew I know.
I will, just as soon as an expansion disappoints me. But I'm not going to preemptively boycott just because I think a set looks underwhelming; there's absolutely no way to predict how interesting the meta will be at this point.
For the first time since HS came out, I will not be getting this expansion.
I do wish more people would speak with their money and their gold to not buy expansions and force HS to make the needed changes to not just be an OK game, but a great game.
Card text, art, and mechanics are lackluster at best, and we wonder why they keep upping the number of "free" packs you get when buying an expansion.
Take a stand and let them know that we demand better for an AAA game.
Yep, the card text was particularly awful this time around. Truly a deal breaker.
And don’t forget all that card art as well. So many terrible looking cards.
Seriously, that’s something completely subjective, so saying that people need to boycott it because OP doesn’t like it is kind of stupid.
OP, have you thought that maybe people are happy with how the game is, and that’s why they still play it? No? Guess it was ridiculous of me to suggest that.
I came back to the game because i saw the new expansion coming out and it really caught my attention, if you dont like it you can always leave and come back latter when it looks interesting to you.
still alot of cards left, extremely disappointed with warrior so far, I usually buy up to 150-200 packs per expansion if things don't get better I may do the same. already preordered doesn't mean I have to buy more.
The expansion looks fine to me. The odd/even shit and how they're executing it is exciting. It certainly looks better than many previous expansions did when half revealed. So I'm going to speak with my $$ and pre purchase the expansion
Set is really starting to feel like TGT but we won't know for sure till after the last reveals and card dump.
what was so bad about tgt? I remember it being. fun time. things that stuck out to me about tgt were inspire, justicar and secret pally. and although secret pally was hated I still enjoy playing versions of it and throwing a mysterious challenger package into other decks
I will continue to speak with my money by throwing it at Blizzard in order to support them NOT changing the game in whatever vague ways you have described here.
Hearthstone has its issues, like any game, but it is a great game, and the card text, art, and mechanics are GREAT at best. Buying cards is how card games have always monetized, and I'm perfectly fine with it. This AAA game is the best!
You can see these opinions are biased and subjective? Nobody is wondering why they are upping the "free" packs you get when buying an expansion, lol. Nor is more free packs anywhere close to a supporting argument for a boycott of Hearthstone (I mean what?!) I can't even tell exactly what you want from this post. Do you want Blizzard to just make cards OP in your eyes? Do you want them to make it all free and not be able to pay their employees or turn a profit? I don't get it. You are surely of a minority opinion on this one bud. Best of luck.
Go play Artifact with the few hundred other people that might care about that game, or the other chump card games that you think are better, and millions will still be here. and not shed a tear that you are gone.
I cant help but feel that the longer one plays the more that expectations rise, to a level that is just crazy. So far Hearthstone has given me hours of enjoyment in my first year. Are there cards that are obviously filler? Yep, that happens in every expansion. Could some be worded better or look better? Sure. But suggesting people stop spending on something they enjoy is a fools errand. Most people play on a budget, and really if you want to you dont have to spend a dime to have fun. Blizzard keeps giving more and more free stuff to help newer players and those who cant spend like crazy. I hope they keep increasing the free stuff as time goes by.
Set seems fine so far. Plenty of interesting cards to play around and echo mechanic is pretty cool. Tons of reveals left and even if many of them are crap, there’s always fun ones to play around with or make ridiculous decks with. Definitely still buying.
Please reply below here if you plan to quit playing Hearthstone.

Not confused at all. They are giving away more free packs now than before.
Whether it is through pre quests, for logging in, new season, theme, etc.
When you cite more free packs than ever as proof the game sucks.

My problem isn't the set quality, it's the obvious pandering to the three most popular classes.
Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.

If you are in your first year of playing please read this post.
Dust does not burn a hole in the jar. Be careful what you craft, especially before and right after a rotation.
