Maybe this is already planned (I kind of doubt it). But if they want to promote wild (and I don't think Blizzard really does), wouldn't handing out a few free GVG and TGT packs be a good start? It seems like a good financial decision, too. The majority of players are still going to stick to standard, but maybe you get your hooks in 5% of the playerbase and they end up buying a few packs or adventures, or even spending some of their dust on wild (which might mean later spending more cash on standard).

Cause blizzard doesn't care.

If they did they would have promoted this event the same way they did the standard ones (Halloween, fire and frost festival) i.e. with with a free arena run, new main menu decorations and an intro by wild characters.

They just slapped this thing together at the last minute and dubbed it an event.

I do agree and hopefully it will happen, let's just hope for it. I do grow tired of having to craft certain wild cards so card packs would be nice. Realistically, they will not be free though. Maybe 100 gold like a regular one

Id try to get my 10-pack legendary on each wild set tho, thats how much gold I would spend on Wild. Shame that Blizzard is not doing that
